Our Penguins have really been enjoying the many resources we have in the garden. With the extremely hot weather disappearing for now fun was had by all. Our recent purchase of 2 wooden driving benches has been a real hit. Creating journeys to lots of fun and exciting places.

The Swan's, Cygnet's and Duckling's have been enjoying posting a variety of objects into various boxes and containers. This is such a great way to continue to improve their fine manipulative skills in a very fun way as these photos show.
Literally a blast from the past as this was created a while ago. Here are the Puffins exploring and discussing different features in space. From discussing planet names to creating their own mobiles. Then the Puffin space mission began by launching the rocket into a journey through space. What an adventure.
We would just like to share with you this lovely video of our Graduation Ceremony 2026. This is always such an emotional time for us all, as we begin to say goodbye to our school leavers. We do wish them all the best in their next adventure at school.
Our lovely Swans have been looking at different emotions. Together they have read the “Worry Monster” and been introduced to different feelings. Through creative activities and discussions they have explored what makes them feel happy, sad, angry, surprised amongst many more feelings. Such fun.
Football is certainly the topic of the day. We would like to wish England lots of luck in tonight’s game. However we are busy training up our Lexden Lodge team in case they need some help in the future.
Our Ducklings and Swans have really been enjoying this lovely weather in the garden. Using their large motor skills to climb and balance. Also their small motor skills to use resources in their sand pit. Sharing and taking turns has also been promoted whilst using our bikes and trikes. Well done everyone.

Last Friday the Puffin children had Anna a dental hygienist come to visit to help the children with their understanding of caring for their teeth. How we brush our teeth? For how long? also how many times was discussed. Then the children had the opportunity to brush some teeth moulds that Anna had brought in. Lastly, they played a game by splitting into 2 teams happy teeth and sad teeth. The children then had to explain which foods were suitable for the correct teams. Many thanks to Anna for giving the Puffin's such a wonderful experience.
