Just a spectacular Friday starting off with the mandatory range observation.

My word the modern day golfer are serious athletes with a very meticulous warm up… (don’t try this at home…)

So many Women who have attended my Womens Golf Schools over the past few years visited Bay 10 for their free lesson.

It’s always a monumental pleasure to hear about their incredible achievements.

A number of new to golf visitors which I was able to provide advice & suggestions how best to structure their new golfing journey within their local facility.

A revisiting lady from Royal Porthcawl with a 5 stroke hcp reduction.. plus a new golfer from 2018 who I introduced to a club member simply loving the game.

It’s the total look of surprise at the difference a 15 minute lesson can make. A super effective learning tool to the golfer appreciating the “sound” and feel of a quality strike.

Sadly it’s the final day of the last Major for me of the year tomorrow but so lovely for a Womens Golf Schools get together.
I look forward to see what final Sunday brings glued to the TV.

A super busy day in the Golf Zone today coaching some truly incredible visitors AIG Women’s Open

The enthusiasm is simply infectious with a lady who I coached for the first time in 2018 now well and truly loving her new sport returning to let me know her golfing success over the past 8 years.

A visit from a 91 yr young golfer just summed up the utter joy the game provides what a beautiful silky swing.

Every golfer who visited me in Bay 10 was given a “task” to enhance their learning whilst watching the worlds best in action.

After attending The R&A Women’s Summit I welcomed four attendees who were quite simply buzzing!

A super day which ended with a magnificent sun set my ultimate way to spend the evening.

If you are fortunate enough to be heading to Royal Lytham please do pop by ⛳️ remember your 15 min lesson lasts more than the “time”

Seriously…. Just returning to golf ⛳️ A mere 7 iron! I know it would be plenty more club for me to get close…

There is nothing better than to witness the improvement & interaction within a group session.

My second class of the weekend series with a full house attending both disciplines.

Despite the deluge which certainly did not affect the enthusiasm & competitive edge all staying for the final competition of the day.

So many new drills for the group which dispelled numerous myths surrounding chipping.

A really interactive afternoon with the players identifying their areas of improvement in a simple but effective way.

The use of inexpensive training aids covering key areas were a light bulb moment for many.

My goal of self learning and exploration was tested in the fabulous sunshine in Essex.

Who is ready for the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Lytham St Annes?

I am delighted to be heading to the fabulous Links which will prove the ultimate test in golf.

I recall competing in the Open my first round time 06:30am… standing with a 2 iron on the first hole par 3 hitting into driving rain and howling wind!

This time my station will be the The R&A Golf It Zone offering FREE 15 minute lessons for visitors.

So pop on down and improve your game whist watching the world’s best in action.

I hope to introduce some new golfers to this wonderful sport & returning players too plus reunited with “old” chums.

What an incredible spectator experience introduced The Open this year Royal Birkdale Golf Club
To coach out of the iconic pot bunker was very special in particular at the Open venue.

A first for many to challenge themselves with the various lies their role models experience was a chance of a lifetime.

Another FULLY booked day with both roll up bays and pre- bookable bays allocated by late morning.

An afternoon shift tomorrow in the bays still an early start to head out to the Links (not quite a 4am) but after all it’s The Open.⛳️ so why wouldn’t you?
