Well has everyone calmed down after an electric week of golf The Solheim Cup

A last minute trip due to my recent surgery having attended 6 Solheims the atmosphere and camaraderie is something very special.

The biannual meeting is one of friendship and utter respect from players and fans alike.

Yes loud, exciting coupled with brilliant golf from both sides concentration at it’s ultimate.

Let’s wait with anticipation where the 2030 will be played within Europe…?

Keeping on my bunker theme.. ⛳️

Don’t always assume the SW is the only club to use in the bunker..

Here I am faced with the awkward 35 yd shot.
I had a lower “bunker face” which afforded me the opportunity to select a less lofted club to achieve more roll & control with greater margin of error.

Experiment with your Gap Wedge, PW or 9 iron.

Be creative next time you are practicing then take your learnings to the course.

Have you lost your confidence in the bunker?

Strike point of the sand is a critical element of successful sand shots.

Here is one practice drill to simplify your shot “parking” all other thoughts until your confidence returns.

Rule #1 Our objective is to Get out first time then we can build upon this.
