Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing a series of posts introducing you to the talented Flight Instructors and Ground Crew at Anglian Flight Centres.

Last week, we introduced Gemma Wickens, who recently joined us as a Flight Instructor. This week, we are delighted to shine the spotlight on Deb Dunlop, who instructs with us most Saturdays.

Debs has a real passion for warbird aircraft. She previously owned a Russian Yak 52 and now enjoys flying the Harvard AT-6 IIA for fun — a reflection of her enduring love of classic aviation.

Debs has been a flight instructor and CRI at AFC for many years, teaching and mentoring student pilots in our Robin HR200 and Cessna 172 fleet. Her enthusiasm and genuine passion for aviation help students feel relaxed and confident, making every lesson both enjoyable and rewarding.

Today Jon collected his trusty steed G-BMIV from maintenance at our sister company Aeroanglia.

We wish Jon and IV the very best of times in their adventure to cross the Atlantic, and look forward to following their progress on the flying reporter channel.

When I heard a Hurricane was on its way to Earls Colne Airfield I tied down all the aircraft, secured the window shutters, and made sure nothing would get blown away…….I feel a bit daft now!
