Our ILH Summer School students enjoyed a fantastic day exploring the capital, visiting iconic London sights and making unforgettable summer memories together. 📸✨

Freshly baked, freshly made — and a very British afternoon at ILC Colchester! 🇬🇧🫖✨

Today our students rolled up their sleeves and learned how to bake traditional scones together. From mixing and shaping to adding cream and jam, it was a lovely chance to practise English, experience British culture and, of course, enjoy the results! 😋

Because learning English is about much more than the classroom — it’s about sharing experiences, making friends and creating memories. 💙

Our students had a fantastic time designing and painting their very own T-shirts, with guidance and inspiration from our talented artist, Sam! 🖌️

Activities like this are a great opportunity to get creative, practise English naturally, and enjoy time together outside the classroom. And the best part? Everyone gets to take home their own unique ILC memory! 💙

Our students got hands-on with one of Britain’s most iconic treats today — making traditional scones! From mixing and baking to enjoying the final results together, it was a fantastic way to experience British culture while making new friends from around the world.
