Well done juniors, a continuation of last week's Uchimata, a truly brilliant lesson, everyone working extremely hard on what is a difficult technique.
We finished the session off with Newaza and randori. Well done to Emmie and Alex for Judokas of the night.

A great senior session taken by Neil, a good mix of uchikomi for all the different levels on the mat, followed up with nagekomi, then on to rollover techniques and finishing off with some solid newaza rounds.

Thank you to all our families and members for being part of our wonderful day, from the brilliant judo in the morning, to the wonderful evening at our awards night, I think everyone had fun.

We have already started planning next year

Good luck to all of our Judoka competing at our 2nd club championships since taking over the club
The aim of the day is show off some great judo, but more importantly to have fun.
Please be there for 8.45am to start the proceedings at 9am

Please remember,
- White suits
- Off mat footwear
- White t-shirts under your jacket for girls, optional for boys
- Long hair tied up and off the shoulders,
- Hair bands should be no metal or hard plastic, and piercings should be removed
- Water bottle

Refreshments are available from McDonalds or possibly the Leisure World Cafe, but you are very welcome to bring your own, please take your rubbish away with you.

CJC club championship schedule and details are as follows.

The competition is for all of our junior Judoka, the evening is for CJC Judoka and their immediate family.

Saturday 6th June.,
8.45am at Leisure world
a fun and free competition for all of our junior judoka.
- Group competition.
- time permitting an open competition.
- We will be looking for the throw of the day
- Judoka of the day.

Please bring cash for our raffle, there are some lovely prizes.
Please support this as it helps towards the cost of the day. Special thanks to Hannah Sisson and Sarah for organising this.

The same day 7pm, our annual awards evening, at the Greenstead Social Club
This event is for all of our judoka and their immediate family, there will a be disco and lots of fun.
To reduce the cost of the evening, we always try to make it a bring a plate event, please see a copy of the food list below.

All of us who volunteer look forward to seeing you all there.
