Little Owls Preschool - Boxted

Little Owls Preschool - Boxted The children are at the heart of everything we do. They lead their own learning guided by a practitioners knowledgeable hand.

Set in a small rural village just on the edge of Colchester and
easily accessible from the new housing developments in North
Colchester, as well as the Highwoods and St Johns areas. The preschool is pleasantly situated in the centre of Boxted
overlooking the lovely King George playing field. Staff are fully qualified and experienced in working with under
fives, and attend regular professional development training to
extend and improve their practice. We accept children from 2 years of age and we do not restrict
starting times to the beginning of terms. Our sessions are term
time Monday to Friday. Early bird 8.45 - 9.15
Morning session 9.15 - 12.15
Lunch 11.45 - 12.45
Afternoon session 12.15 - 3.15

🦉✨ We've had a hoot of a time this week at Little Owls Preschool! ✨🦉

Inspired by our book of the week, Owl Babies, the children have enjoyed lots of hands-on learning experiences. We fed baby owls worms, collected conkers from their nest, painted beautiful owls, and explored the story through imaginative play.

The children have truly embraced the story and loved learning all about owls and their woodland home. What a fantastic week of fun, creativity, and learning! 🍂🎨📚

Our book of the week is Ruby's Worry by Tom Percival.
It is a reassuring and sensitive book, the perfect book for talking to children about sharing hidden worries no matter how big or small they may be.
