What an amazing morning we had at our Little Owls fun run. The children were absolutely incredible — super speedy, full of smiles, and so proud of themselves.
A massive thank you to Boxted Runners for leading the way and cheering us on. Your energy and encouragement made the whole event feel extra special.
Our Little Owls were really spurred on by the wonderful support from families and friends too. It means so much to the children and to us.
We’ll share the total amount raised once all sponsorship has been collected. Thank you again for helping make today such a joyful community moment 💛✨

Little owls 🦉 pre-school Little Owls Preschool - Boxted is at the heart of our community in Boxted. So today we were thrilled to be able to share resources we had purchased with them. We hope that they will support the learning and development they so brilliantly provide for pre school children in our community.

The mini Annie CPR dummy kits have been funded by our members as part of our support for this years WI resolution ‘Bystanders can be Lifesavers’ WI Essex The WI (National Federation of Women's Institutes).

Thank you to Nicola, Mel and all the pre school team for engaging with us and for our committee member Gillian for unleashing her inner teacher and talking to the children about the WI and why we were providing the kit!

We are excited to be embarking on the Nourishing Our Future accreditation. This programme supports early years settings in promoting healthy eating, positive food experiences, and sustainable habits. Over the coming months, we will be reviewing our practice, involving families, and helping children learn about food, nutrition, and where our food comes from. We look forward to working together to create a healthier, more sustainable future for our children.
