🌰 We're Hiring! Part-Time Early Years Practitioner 🌰

Squirrels Preschool is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team.

📍 Position: Part-Time Early Years Practitioner

🕒 Hours: 21 hours per week

📅 Contract: Term Time Only

We're looking for someone who: 🐿️ Is passionate about supporting children aged 2–5 years. 🌿 Can provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. 🎨 Enjoys planning and delivering exciting play-based learning experiences. 🤝 Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children and families. 📚 Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework (relevant level 3 training is essential ).

🌟 GRADUATION CEREMONY 🌟

Friday 17th July
10am till 11.30
Please come along with your child if they are graduating this year.
We will be doing a ceremony in the big hall (Cyril Coppin hall) then we will have some snacks and have some time to mingle and chat.

We will finish with the children performing their graduation song that they have been practicing so hard for you all.

We cant wait to celebrate with you all

Today was our final day of preschool before we celebrate our wonderful leavers at Graduation tomorrow 🎓
✨️What a lovely year it has been!
We are so proud of every single child and all they have achieved during their time with us. Watching their confidence, friendships, independence and love of learning grow has been so lovely to watch and be apart of.
✨️To all our families, we would just like to say a big thank you for all of our lovely cards & gifts and also for your continued support and kindness throughout the year.
✨️To our children moving on to school,
We can't wait to celebrate with you and your families at Graduation tomorrow! 🎓
✨️For all of our families returning in September, we wish you a lovely summer break ☀️ And We look forward to welcoming you back to preschool on Friday 4th September for another year of fun, learning and new adventures together.

Today was the last day for some of our squirrels😢

We have had the best day today. We made the Argentinian flag 🇦🇷 on our craft table. The children loved putting the colours in the right order today and talking about the sun in the middle of the flag.

We had an ice cream themed tuff tray. The children had shaving foam with paint in it to colour the foam and for the children to pick which flavour ice cream they would like🍦.

We have enjoyed the garden today and creating lots of mess in the garden. The children liked the mud kitchen and creating lots of yummy food for their friends. The children also loved helping to wash all our mud kitchen bowls and pots to get ready for the end of term.

We also had a music party in the room with the Alexa. The children loved picking which songs they would like and dancing around the room together. They also played many games with the Alexa such as guess the animal.

Today our children have held, touched or just viewed lots of different animals depending on the level of bravery.

We saw a beautiful rabbit, a guinea pig, a tortoise, a geko, a hissing cockroach and a millipede

The children were absolutely amazing, super brave, followed instructions perfectly and treated the animals with the respect they so rightly deserved, so I would like to say a big thankyou to them all for doing such a good job.

We hope we can do this super treat again next year.
