Fun 4 Kids at Bishop William Ward School Fun 4 Kids at Bishop William Ward offers breakfast and after school club. We operate term time only, children can access our holiday club at Highwoods.

We accept children from aged 3. We follow the framework of the EYFS for all children up to the end of the reception year. We are a child centred setting following the playwork principles giving the children the freedom to explore their own chosen activities. We offer a range of healthy breakfasts in the morning and a healthy snack in the afternoon. Most staff are qualified childcare practitioners or working towards the appropriate level of childcare qualification. All staff are DBS and reference checked and hold safeguarding training and paediatric first aid certificates.

The penultimate week has come to a close. We have been trying to keep cool by working out ways for water to flow using tubes and guttering. The children have helped washing the toys ready for next year. Quiet games and hamma bead designs. Well done children, you have dealt with the long afternoon/ evening heat incredibly.

This week, the children have been enjoying being out in the sunshine building dens, climbing, tuff tray water play, and playing football. Inside, the children have been involved in the World Cup by colouring and designing their own pitches and building stadiums. Please ensure children have sun cream, which they can apply themselves or sunhats as there is very little shade to be had. Have a lovely weekend.

It's Friday! Well done everyone, another fun packed week has been had. We have been making water slime, celebrating international Doughnut Day by designing our own doughnuts.
