Money can’t buy you happiness… but it CAN buy you entry to our Junior Grand Prix 🏆🙌🏻

There’s still time to get involved in our first event of the 2026/27 series, with separate boys’ and girls’ competitions across our junior age groups.

We’d especially love to see some more girls joining us on court! Whether you’re relatively new to competitive squash or already playing regularly, the Grand Prix series is a brilliant opportunity to play against other juniors at a similar stage, build confidence and get some match experience under your belt.

A big well done to all of our academy players who competed on Sunday at the Essex & Suffolk County Champs.

There were a LOT more people to mention but we had to draw a line at the winners and runners up from each tournament. We heard incredible things from the County Coaches and are incredibly proud of the effort and skills shown on court.

Well done team! 👏👏

Our Grand Prix series is back for the 2026/27 season and we’re SO EXCITED to see you all back on court.

This series is designed for beginners to competition and a perfect start to gain confidence in a safe environment with players of a similar level.

You’ll be playing in a boys or girls only tournament, so no concerns over embarrassment or shyness hopefully 🤞 You’ll play against kids in dual banded school years- for example;

- Year 4 and under
- Year 6 and under
- Year 8 and under
- Year 10 and under

This helps keep consistency for the whole season without worrying about “aging-up”.

We have dates set for October and January, at our home venue in Colchester and also our great second home of Ipswich Sports Club.

We’re excited to be hosting the 🏆Aspire East Regional Closed🏆 at Ipswich Sports Club this October, with two days of competitive junior squash bringing together players from across the East region.

🏅 Bronze event
👥 Boys & Girls: U9, U11, U13, U15, U17 & U19

⭐️ POM for April is Lucas Howard-Lock ⭐️ (received late due to exams!!)

Lucas joined the Academy in 2019 and has been regularly attending squads ever since. His improvement over the last few months has been particularly significant and has been noticed by all the coaches.

Lucas has been consistently playing on the top courts and has really improved his technical and tactical game which is great to see.

He is always honest and fair on court and has been an excellent member of the Academy for over 7 years.

Well done to Lucas, well deserved, we hope your exams went well too!

What a fantastic day we had at the Off The Wall Squash Open yesterday at Ipswich Sports Club! 🏆

A huge well done to every player who stepped on court and gave it their all. From our youngest competitors to our older juniors, the standard of squash on display was outstanding, with some brilliant matches throughout the day.

Congratulations to all of our winners and runners-up, and thank you to the parents, coaches, referees, and supporters who helped make the event such a success.

We love hosting events like these—they’re a fantastic opportunity for junior players to develop, compete, and enjoy the game... although we think most of them are there for the social! 😆

Our OTW player of the month for April 2026 is Harley Meadows.

Harley attends our Tuesday Off The Charts squad and he has been a stand out improver recently. We love his energy, enthusiasm, good manners and respect.

Recently Harley has found extra confidence and is often the first to answer questions and give in-depth responses. His squash has developed so much both technically and tactically.

He’s a brilliant member of the Academy, well done to Harley for all your hard work and dedication!

Massive congratulations to OTW’s Will Burton on being selected for the England U17 team that were crowned European Junior Team Champions 🇬🇧🏆

England faced Poland in the final, securing the title on games countback and finishing 8-5 overall in games. Will also played an important role in the semis, to help England defeat Czechia 3-0 and book their place in the final.

Well done Will! Such a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for everyone at Off The Wall! 🔥
