Following the children’s interests we have this activity set up for tomorrow.
Sooooo many learning opportunities.
- counting
- number recognition
- shape recognition
- colour recognition
- problem solving
- categorising
- turn taking
- communication
- hand eye coordination
- more or less
- big and small
- extending learning with simple maths through adding and subtracting (which can link back to more and less)
But most importantly, all this can happen though play and they have no idea they are “learning”.
