We are delighted to invite you to the second exhibition in our ‘Conversations’ series:

Inside/Outside

Open Saturday and Sunday, 11am–4pm

Art is a constant cycle of exchange – we gather inspiration from the outside, process it internally, and release it back into the world as something new. It provides a vital means of connecting with our surroundings and responding to our lived experiences within them.

This exhibition explores that powerful movement of regeneration through a series of thought-provoking works by ten artists.

Join us for our opening event on Saturday 27 June, 2–4pm at the Benham Gallery, Cuckoo Farm Studios, CO4 5HH.

Heatwave? What heatwave? Nothing puts off a determined band of artists!

This week has been one of our maintenance weeks, when we come together to repair, repaint, tidy, and cut back around the site. Cuckoo Farm has been running since 1992 and is entirely volunteer-run, so keeping everything in great shape is truly a team effort.

A huge thank you to all of our studio tenants who have given their time and energy to keep the studios looking so good. A special mention goes to Peter and Tom, who have been here at daybreak painting the gallery roof before the heat became too much.

Your hard work makes Cuckoo Farm the amazing thriving community it is. Thank you all!

One Artist Said to the Other…As part of Cuckoo Farm’s Conversations series, our associate artists and printmakers formed pairs or small groups to talk to each other through their art, creating fresh new work in paint, print, paper, collage and ceramics as part of their dialogue.
The exhibition runs until 22 June 21 and is open each Saturday and Sunday from 11.30 until 16.30 at the Benham gallery, Cuckoo Farm Studios

My first solo exhibition explores the evolution of my creative voice as both a painter and a sculptor, shaped profoundly by my experiences in the military. Through the visual language of form, texture, and color, this body of work examines the interplay of conflict and recovery, camouflage and identity.
