We’re kicking off our new In the Spotlight series with one of the three things we love most… ACTING! ✨

From stepping into character and exploring emotions, to improvisation, storytelling and working together our acting sessions give students the freedom to get creative and grow in confidence. 🌟

What actually happens to a child’s brain when they perform? 🧠

There’s a lot more happening on stage than we might realise!

Learning lines, remembering choreography, singing, acting and performing together can all help develop skills including focus, communication, confidence, creativity and empathy. ❤️

It’s one of the reasons we love what we do at Theatretrain Colchester the skills our students are developing can reach far beyond the stage.
