Charlie's Childcare

And that’s a wrap, Charlie’s Childcare is now closed. The only way to finish today was with a Christmas party. 🎉 Unfortunately due to covid I couldn’t invite everyone back, but we made sure we finished in style!

A massive thank you to all of the children and their families who have touched my heart over the last 6 years and to my boys and husband Nick for sharing their home and hearts with them too.

Childminding has given me many years of reward and happiness, and the opportunity to be a full time Mum to my own boys, but now feels like the right time to take on a new challenge and have our home back just for my family. My boys can’t believe they are now allowed their Lego downstairs ❤️.

I’ll keep this page open, it’s packed full of memories for us and lots of people. I wish everyone the most wonderful, happy and healthy Christmas.

What a lovely Christmassy day. We made reindeer food to take home for Christmas Eve, raced penguin ice paints down the ramp and used them to draw pictures and colour mix in the magic snow. A little cutie had a sneaky nap on Nick 😁 whilst Pips and Thomas made a melted snowman ⛄️ .

Today was Thomas’ last day with me, it’s been lovely to see him settle and grow in confidence over the last few months and we will miss him loads. I can’t wait to hear all about how you get on at your new pre school Thomas. ❤️

Christmas = lots of crafts ❤️

There was a terrible snow storm 🌨 in Charlies tuff tray last night and 10 penguins needed rescued from the snow! 🐧 We counted them all to check we had found them and then the children took over and made ice creams, spaghetti and hats of course! 😁🍦 🍝 🎩

It’s officially Christmas at Charlie’s house 🎄. I wonder how many times I will say “don’t touch please” tomorrow 😂.

Today we hunted in the woods for the Gruffalo and met lots of his pals along the way!

My boys had an unexpected afternoon off school today due to a power cut, so we grabbed our coats and enjoyed an amazing afternoon at the zoo together.

We had an amazing time today at Abberton Reservoir nature reserve. The brambly hedge mouse trail was so much fun and we learnt so many facts along the way! We also sat as quietly as we could in the bird hyde and spotted some geese and swans. 🐦 🦢

Does anything beat a sunny day ☀️ trip to the park ❤️
