The children had a brilliant time learning about the World Cup over the past couple of weeks! We looked at some of the different countries taking part, explored their colourful flags and chatted about how people from all over the world come together through sport 🌎✨
The children then got creative, using coloured paper and glue to design and make their very own flags. There were lots of proud smiles as they showed off their creations! 🎨🚩
Of course, we couldn't talk about football without having a kickabout! We headed outside to wave our flags before taking part in a fun football game. There was plenty of running, kicking, cheering and, most importantly, lots of teamwork! ⚽🙌
Activities like these help children learn about the world around them while developing their creativity, fine and gross motor skills, and learning how to take turns and work together 💙😊
