A month full of sunshine, smiles and breakfast Alfresco ☀️

We have enjoyed plenty of garden time, where we have been working on our gross motor skills whilst exploring our climbing equipment and practicing our football skills ready for the next World Cup... We are strong 💪

Our Nature Explorers went on learning walks through the woods, finding out about the different animals and bugs we mind find living there, being lucky enough to get up close with the ducks! We are smart 🦆

We celebrated Independence Day, Amelia Earhart Day and so much more! We learnt about each other, what our families look like and what types of houses we live in... we are loved 🤍

We can't wait to see what August will bring...

What a hot month it's been, full of sunshine and lots of smiles! ☀️

This month our Nature Explorers have been out searching for different flowers and getting up close with the ducks during a learning walk through the woods! 🦆

We've refreshed the plant pots with the help of our Gardening Club, learning ways to stay safe whilst planting by wearing gloves and how to handle tools safely. 🪴

We have been developing our football skills ready for the next generation of England Football Superstars 🌟

Our Little Bakers have made some of the most delicious treats (star bakers in the making) 🧁

And our Young Scientists have been experimenting with potions in the mud kitchens ✨️

We've had an amazing month full of so many learning opportunities, let's see what August has in store for us...

Today our garden was transformed into Woodland Fun Fair, thanks to our amazing Serene 💛

The children loved exploring a range of exciting activities, each designed to support their learning through play:

🦆 Hook-a-Duck – Encouraged hand-eye coordination, concentration, turn-taking, and patience.

🎯 Bean Bag Toss – Helped develop gross motor skills, aiming, balance, and spatial awareness while building confidence.

⭕️ Ring Toss – Supported fine and gross motor skills, problem-solving, perseverance, and judging distance.

🎨 Target Splat Throwing – A fun way to practise throwing skills, coordination, and estimating force, while enjoying sensory play.

🍦 Mud Kitchen Ice Cream Parlour – Inspired imaginative role play, communication and language, creativity, social interaction, and early maths as children served, counted, measured, and shared their "ice creams."

There were smiles, laughter, and lots of opportunities to learn through play. Experiences like these help children develop physical skills, confidence, communication, and friendships—all while having so much fun! 🌈

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff member for creating such a memorable day and bringing our fun fair to life. 💕

The month we officially welcomed Summer, enjoyed splashing in the pool and cooled off with ice lollies... what fun it's been!

This month our Nature Explorers went litter picking in the woods as part of learning to keep the environment safe, our Gardening Club have been learning about vegetables and where they grow, our Young Scientists have been experimenting using a science book one of our Malala friends let us borrow, we opened Woodland Spa to encourage Mindfulness Sessions encouraging the children to speak positively about themselves whilst learning relaxation techniques and our Little Artist Club have been using art to express their emotions using a variety of materials!

We can't wait to see what July has in store for us...

This month has been full of sunshine, water play and making new memories 🤍

We've enjoyed so many amazing activities and been busy with all our extra-curricular activities too which we all love, including Sing & Sign and Sports with Coach Dan 💪

We have also planted herbs with the Gardening Club, made some delicious treats with Baby Bakers, studied bugs with Nature Explorers (some of our Malala room are still talking about the Stag Beetle!) We have carried out experiments with Young Scientists and had lots of Dance Parties to name just a few!

We can't wait to see what we will get up to in June...

A month full of sunshine, giggles and lots of messy play! This month we continued our Easter celebrations as well as celebrating Earth Day, Sense of Smell Day, St George's Day and so much more!

We spent lots of time out on walks, baking yummy snacks, exploring textures through (very) messy activities and having lots of fun making memories with our friends 🥰

We can't wait to see what's in store for May...
