Butterfly Barns Day Nursery

May 🌸

This month has been full of sunshine, water play and making new memories 🤍

We've enjoyed so many amazing activities and been busy with all our extra-curricular activities too which we all love, including Sing & Sign and Sports with Coach Dan 💪

We have also planted herbs with the Gardening Club, made some delicious treats with Baby Bakers, studied bugs with Nature Explorers (some of our Malala room are still talking about the Stag Beetle!) We have carried out experiments with Young Scientists and had lots of Dance Parties to name just a few!

We can't wait to see what we will get up to in June...

April 🤍

A month full of sunshine, giggles and lots of messy play! This month we continued our Easter celebrations as well as celebrating Earth Day, Sense of Smell Day, St George's Day and so much more!

We spent lots of time out on walks, baking yummy snacks, exploring textures through (very) messy activities and having lots of fun making memories with our friends 🥰

We can't wait to see what's in store for May...

March 🌸

This month we saw in Spring and enjoyed many exciting things...

We have celebrated Ramadan, St Patrick's Day, World Book Day, Comic Relief and Mother's Day... We went on many beautiful walks, explored some amazing activities, baked some delicious goodies and started our Easter celebrations 🐣

We can't wait to see what April has in store for us 🤍

A month full of love and laughter... What an amazing month this has been for us here at Woodland Barn, not only have we learnt about and explored space, science, nature and emotions, we've learnt about and celebrated Chinese New Year, enjoyed some delicious pancakes and so much more!

Most importantly, we welcomed back our Malala team and children 🥰 phase one of our Malala room refurbishment is now complete with phase two due to be complete within the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for a reveal!! 👀

What a gorgeous first month we've had here at Woodland Barn!

We've enjoyed snowy days, messy play, sports and celebrated significant days, such as Martin Luther King Jr day and Lohri ✨️

Merry Christmas 🎄

We would just like to wish all of our wonderful families a very Merry Christmas and say a big thank you all for another wonderful year, we feel so incredibly lucky! 🤍

So many amazing things happened this year, including celebrating the opening of our sister setting, Woodland House, and our amazing Alice announcing her pregnancy! We look forward to 2026 being another incredible year!!!

What a busy month... from Bonfire Night to Remembrance Day, plus LOTS of fun in between, including Nursery Rhyme week and celebrating Children in Need, our month has been bursting with excitement! 🎇

Woodland Group Christmas Fayre ✨🎄

Saturday 29th November - 4:00-6:00!

Come and join us for our Christmas Fayre, we will have story time with Father Christmas himself, food vans, local stalls selling a variety of personalised gifts and much more, & a special guest singer!

What a fantastic month we've had!

This month has been full of lots of amazing activities and Autumnal walks 🍂

Some of the things we've celebrated and learnt about are Black History Month, Space Week, Diwali and of course, Halloween! We also celebrated our wonderful team during 'Staff Wellbeing Week' 🤍
