3.5 years of friendship and my Albies first friend ❤️

Today we said goodbye to Mark, he started with me as a little baby who could only sit and is leaving me as a big boy 4 off on his new chapter at big boy school.

I’ve seen him learn to crawl, walk, talk, climb and develop in so many ways…. It’s a privilege to get to be such a part of his life ❤️

We will all miss you lots here, not only me but my family and all your little friends ❤️

🌿 Looking for a warm, caring home-from-home childminder? 🏡❤️

Hi, I’m Chelsea! I’m an Ofsted-rated Good childminder, registered for 9 years, with 23 years of experience working with children in nurseries and schools, valuable experience supporting children with SEN (Special Educational Needs) as well as being a Mum to 3 children.
I provide a warm, nurturing home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy, valued and encouraged to be themselves. 🥰

🌳 Outdoor play is a huge part of our days!
I truly believe that children thrive outdoors, and we go outside rain or shine! 🌧️☀️ There is so much for children to discover, explore and learn from, whatever the weather. We love getting fresh air, enjoying nature, going on adventures, getting muddy and learning through play. 🌿🐛🥾

🎨 I believe children learn best when they are having fun, so we enjoy plenty of child-led play, creative activities, exploring, getting messy and developing confidence and independence along the way.

I’m a term time setting but I’m also a busy mum who understands that sometimes we need extra help! Which is why I offer a few days in the holidays to help out my parents when I can ❤️

And that’s another term done! It’s been a week of emotions with Albie finishing at his setting ready for school, saying goodbye to the children for the summer and excitement for 6 weeks with these 3 home together ❤️

I hope you have a wonderful summer with your children❤️

Thank goodness the temperature has dropped now but it’s still so warm for the children so ice and water is constantly out still.

The Pom Pom’s in ice was a big hit… the children had to problem solve to work out how to save the Pom Poms and was so lovely to see the older ones helping the younger ones and suggesting ideas.

This then led to the bigger boys setting up the guttering as ramps for the Pom Poms to roll down.

Please make sure your children come in with sun cream applied, bottle of sun cream, sun hat, swim wear and be wearing light clothing. The inside of my house is not much cooler than outside even with fans so this will all help to keep them as comfortable as possible.

This week will just be about keeping cool and surviving the heat so expect lots of water and ice based activities 💦💦

Nice simple activity today to work on the children’s hand eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Happy Fathers Day ❤️

We spent that day celebrating Dean by doing what the boys wanted to do 😂

In this heat this morning was just all about keeping cool 🥵 so that meant lots and lots of water play!

The children love to help me around the setting and this morning one of my big ones asked if he could clean the toy cars! Not only was this super helpful but it also involved lots of squeezing sponges and cloths( all amazing for their hand/finger muscles ready for writing) and also showing them the importance of looking after their things.

Wet miserable weather doesn’t stop us being outside and having fun!

The children have shown a real interest in plants the past few weeks to this morning the messy tray was set up allowing them to plant their own flowers! The older children were using some amazing vocabulary like scoop, pour, mix and grow and the younger ones then mimicked and tried saying the words ❤️
