An emotional weekend.
As many know, I’m yet to really step back and appreciate all the hard work Rob and I have put in over the past 14 months creating a home for Enhance.
However, every now and then I have moments that make me stop and realise what we’ve actually built. This weekend was one of those moments.
Over the weekend, we hosted our very first fitness event, built from the ground up. It took a lot of hard work leading up to the big day, but seeing it all come together made it completely worth it.
To everyone who showed up and competed, thank you. You were incredible, and obviously we wouldn’t have had an event to run without you.
But what really moved me were the people who selflessly gave up their Saturday to help make the day run smoothly.
Everyone who judged, helped set up, directed traffic, parked cars, filled up the water stations, administered first aid, cheered on competitors and just got stuck in wherever they were needed allowed me to step back and appreciate that the community we’ve built feels much more like a family. That’s something I’m incredibly proud of.
More than anything, I’m humbled that this many people genuinely want to see EP do well. I was moved by everyone’s generosity, fulfilled seeing so many people come together for a vision that Rob and I have worked so hard to create, and grateful that our leadership and vision for Enhance have been backed up by people’s actions, not just their words.
Not only that, but knowing Jesse gets to grow up in an environment like this means the world to me. Everything I do is for him (and of course Annabelle). They are the reason behind all of this, and the reason EP will continue to grow and be as successful as it can be.
Thank you to everyone who played a part this weekend. It meant more than you probably realise.

Reflections.
I don’t really know where to start. Probably because I’m still slightly sleep deprived and overwhelmed after such an incredible weekend for the team.
First of all, I’m inspired. Jackson showed me the true meaning of digging deep and getting the job done. Even when the body refuses, the mind can take you further.
Crewing Jackson at the Backyard Ultra this weekend was a blast. Supporting alongside Dean and Rob was brilliant. Dean’s knowledge of the game was priceless in helping Jackson achieve such a mammoth goal, and it’s a weekend I’ll remember for a long time for many reasons.
One of those reasons is how much it opened my eyes to what we’ve created at EP. We have truly built something that gets not only our members ready for anything, but our coaches too. (Annabel achieving a PB at the Hackney Half as well, she’s a true role model to many.)
Our programming is making all of us stronger and fitter. After a year in the game, we now know this isn’t coincidence, and it isn’t luck. Everyone trusts the process, listens to the coaches, and achieves the results they deserve. That’s something I’m truly proud of.
I’m in awe of anyone who goes out and challenges themselves, testing their limits for the sake of self improvement. This weekend inspired me and gave me the push to commit to some serious challenges over the next 365 days.
I can’t thank you guys enough for that. I needed that push.
I’ve been stuck in a rut of dissatisfaction since being forced out of rugby seven years ago through injury. Since then, I haven’t achieved anything without comparing it to how I felt playing, and nothing has ever lived up to those standards. That’s something I’ve held onto for far too long.
So again, thank you team.
I can’t wait to carry this energy and effort into everything coming up for me personally, and for the EP family too. Everyone deserves the best, and I know I’ll certainly give it everything I’ve got. You can definitely rely on Rob for that too.
Unlimited years of potential.
A dream come true.

The best! 💙
