Following my current little one’s interest I set up this Gruffalo tuff tray for them. We made some delicious owl ice cream, roasted fox, scrambled snake and of course some Gruffalo crumble (which had cinnamon added to it to enhance this sensory experience). We also used the Yoto player to read the story for us while we were playing. Counting tokens from play.3dprints 🍁 🍂

Another lovely Talking Tots session today, it was all about animals this week. We followed Miss Tasha’s instructions really well when we fed our hand puppet animals, built and knocked down our towers made, danced like animals and listened to a nice story 📕 🦁 🐘 The children also did some great signing! talking.tots26

Autumn 🍂 has arrived again in the playroom. The children were super excited this morning to explore the new autumn resources and reading some of our new books 🍄 🐿️ 🦔 🍁 🍁

Super fun morning spent at the park with our friends from Happy Ducklings 🐥 and Paivi Warner playing parachute games, egg and spoon and other running races, bubbles 🫧 and dancing 🤩 Our very own little sports day 💖 ☀️

Yesterday we attended a wonderful beach themed session at Story Imaginory Story Imagin-ory Colchester South and West for the first time. The children enjoyed singing, reading and exploring all the lovely beach themed activities set up by Becky, the fishing game and ice cream parlour being their absolute favourite 🍦 🎣 🦀 🐠

Under the sea diorama 🐠 🦀 🦈 🐳 🐚 🪸 A wonderful group project we worked on this week. Everyone contributed to this beautiful creation and they were all very proud of their work 🤩

Yesterday we attended our last session of Talking Tots. The children absolutely loved the summer/ beach themed activities and party where we danced with funky sunglasses, flower garlands and beach toys. At the end of the class all children received a medal and certificate 🥇 from the lovely Miss Tasha and now they are ready for Reception or big nursery. We will miss our weekly fun classes! Thank you Talking Tots Colchester Talking Tots HQ for such a fun and educational year 🩷
