I run my 8 week courses (level 1, 2 &3) three times a year in January, Easter and September.
These courses cover the foundation skills needed to learn how to make jewellery, and there are a lot !

Each week is action packed with content and focusing on a different skill set. Each designed to build on skills learnt and extend these skills further.

In the mean time, whilst waiting for a space on a course, you can of course attend the weekend taster sessions, as they don’t overlap with the courses - they augment your learning.

The more you do, the more you learn.

The taster sessions include :
making spinner rings,
making a set of stacking rings (both with gem set rings),
making a stamped or hammered silver ring,
making patterned wire bangles, making a stamped silver cuff,
making a silver link bracelet,
making earrings or a pendant,

There’s only so much content you can pack into an eight week course and to be honest this is just scratching the surface of the skills needed.

The great thing about jewellery making is that it is difficult and there is so much to learn and so many different branches you can explore.

So we also offer extra master classes to stretch your skills further :
bezel making,
collet making,
tube setting,
silver clay,
enamelling,
casting,
enamelling on silver clay and
inlay ring making.
These may be taught by visiting tutors who have specialised in their field and are practicing artists.

We aim to build an exciting and supporting environment where you are stretched in your learning and can build on your skills gradually.

Plus we have all the tools and equipment so you don’t have to…
I offer bench rental to my students from as little as £5 an hour.
