Have you seen the post over on St Stephen’s Church page?

There is a collection box for good condition reading books to go towards Keep Colchester Reading book appeal.

If any of our Chill Out Families have books they would like to donate then please bring in and let us know and we can add to the box!

We are proudly supporting Keep Colchester Reading again this Christmas and welcome you to bring in and donate your unwanted books for this scheme.

Good condition books only please.

(Children’s/teens/young adult/adult fiction books all welcome-
No recipe or gardening books)

Also if anyone has any Christmas wrapping paper that they would also be able to donate for the scheme then please do drop it in to the church / the office.

The crate will be here ready in the corner of the foyer for more donations to be added to it.

Did you know….

The children ever afternoon are given the chance to have a snack to refuel their energy levels after a busy school day!
Sometimes there will be fruits and other items to choose; always ensuring that we cater to dietary requirements.

Did you know…..

If you’re are a parent whose child we collect / drop off to school there’s an app specifically for you to use!

Check on here for details, photos and updates of things the children are getting up to whilst they’re with us in the setting! (Isn’t it great to be a fly on the wall sometimes?!)

Saturday morning The Hub is on at St Stephen's Church from 10am.
Barista coffees, cakes and biscuits, Lego Club, Warhammer Club, Knit and Natter all back between 10am and 12noon!

Sunday morning is Messy Church at St Stephen's with Blessing of The bags - everyone is welcome to attend , service starts at 10.15am.

First week of school back this term .........done!
It has been lovely to welcome the children back to Chill Out for breakfast or picking them up from school in the afternoon - lots of happy smiles!

We are really looking forward to getting to know the new children and their families who have and will be joining us from next week too.

Hi everyone! Due to the wet weather forecast today, we’ve decided to reschedule our Community Litter Pick to make sure it’s still enjoyable (and safe!) for everyone.

🗓 New Date: Monday 4th August
🕙 Time: 11AM-1PM
📍 Location: Old Heath Recreation Ground & Community Gardens

We’d still love your support — whether you can spare 15 minutes or the whole time. It’s a relaxed, family-friendly morning with litter pickers and bags provided.
