🚀 What an AMAZING term we've had in our ComputerXplorers Scratch Attack Club! 💻🎮

Over the last 6 weeks our young coders have been learning, creating and building some incredible projects using Scratch!

✨ Week 1: We refreshed our Scratch skills and used the Pen Extension to create awesome shapes, patterns and colourful designs.
🎨 Week 2: We built our own interactive Etch A Sketch projects, experimenting with movement, colours and pen effects.
📹 Week 3: Things got exciting with Video Sensing as pupils created a juggling game controlled by their own movements!
🏁 Week 4: The children designed race tracks and coded cars to race around them — with some adding lap timers and speed boosters!
🎮 Weeks 5 & 6: Our pupils became game developers, creating their own Flappy Bird 🐦, Pong 🏓 and Maze 🧩 games from scratch.

Some of our superstar coders even challenged themselves further by adding scores 🏆, timers ⏱️, high scores ⭐ and extra gameplay features.

Throughout the term the children developed problem-solving skills, creativity, teamwork and coding confidence — all whilst having LOTS of fun! 😃

A fabulous time was had by all, and we are incredibly proud of everything they created 👏

Take a look at some highlights below! 🎥👇

🚀🚀🚀 Slight change to our May Half Term Holiday Tech Club Plan. Due to unforeseen Tech Issues (yes, they happen to us too!) we are unable to put on our MakeCode Retro Game Design class.

After consulting with the experts (our regulars!), we have voted to run a new Roblox Studio Game Design session instead 🎮🎮🎮✨

Below is an updated timetable, see you there!
