Hi everyone,

The deadline of the LSE Actuarial Case Competition has been extended till tomorrow (Friday, 18/03/2022), 12:00pm. The LSE Actuarial Case Competition will be running alongside their Actuarial Conference 2022, and registrations are open to all students studying in the United Kingdom. You DO NOT need a background in Actuarial Science to participate (just basic Maths would work) as there will be workshops throughout the week to guide you through the case.

The LSE Actuarial Case Competition 2022 aims to provide an opportunity for teams of students to apply new methodologies, actuarial knowledge, and industrial insight gained throughout the week to solve real-world problems. Teams work together on a case provided to conduct actuarial analysis, formulate, and present their solutions. The top 7 finalists are invited to present to a panel of professionals for top awards.

Case Competition Timeline:
- 18/03: Registration closes (12 noon)
- 19/03: Participants briefing and distribution of materials
- 21/03: Preliminary round submission deadline
- 24/03: Announcement of finalist teams and release of final case
- 25/03: Mentoring sessions with finalists
- 26/03: Final round presentation & announcement of winners
*Timeline may vary slightly

Note:
1) Participants are allowed to register as a team of 3 to 5 members.
2) Participants can also sign up as individuals or pairs and teams will be randomly allocated.
3) Confirmation email will be sent once the registration for this case competition closes.
