At Lexden Primary School we aim to provide every child with a stimulating and caring environment where creativity and challenge inspire academic success and individual fulfillment. Enhanced Provision -
The school has an 18 place enhanced provision catering for pupils with Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP) for moderate/severe/profound hearing loss from across the whole of North East Essex. For those outside of Essex, please contact the school directly or Statutory Assessment Team at Essex County Council to arrange a visit. Nursery -
Lexden Primary School benefits from a thriving 26 place Nursery class led by a qualified teacher. Offering both full and part time sessions for three and four year olds, Nursery children are taught and nurtured in a caring, stimulating and challenging learning environment built around the children’s needs, interests and passions. Our experienced team of Nursery staff work in partnership with parents to cultivate children’s wellbeing, enabling them to become confident, resilient and independent learners. To register your interest in a Nursery place, please complete the ‘Nursery Place, Registration of Interest Form’ found under the 'NURSERY' tab on our website and return it to the school office.

We had a wonderful day on Wednesday at our Music Festival! Thank you to Miss Platten for organising.

✨Wow, what a wonderful day we had at Lexden Primary School Music Festival!!

✨ We had a brief from the school to introduce children to music, which they would never usually hear.

✨Thanks to wonderful performances from Soprano & Britten Pears Young Artist, Kirsty Mclean, Oud player Qusai Aljaramani, and African Drummer Hassan Lotfi, the day was an incredible success. The interaction from children singing all together, drumming and dancing was a special moment that the Roman River team will remember for a very long time!
