We had a wonderful day on Wednesday at our Music Festival! Thank you to Miss Platten for organising.

✨Wow, what a wonderful day we had at Lexden Primary School Music Festival!!

✨ We had a brief from the school to introduce children to music, which they would never usually hear.

✨Thanks to wonderful performances from Soprano & Britten Pears Young Artist, Kirsty Mclean, Oud player Qusai Aljaramani, and African Drummer Hassan Lotfi, the day was an incredible success. The interaction from children singing all together, drumming and dancing was a special moment that the Roman River team will remember for a very long time!

✨ A huge thank you to our brilliant friends and funders for generously supporting our education and community outreach.

Year 2 - In DT we have been busy exploring mechanisms and we have designed and worked together in teams to make ferris wheels. Lots of problem solving and communicating was needed!

Year 2 enjoyed taking part in the Beat goes on workshop with a musician who had just performed in the Jubilee Party at the Palace. They learnt how to use their body to make body percussion.
