As we head towards the summer holidays, I wanted to let you know that I’ll be opening up summer holiday tuition sessions to pupils who may not currently have a regular slot with me, but would like some support over the summer break.

Whether your child would benefit from consolidating their learning from this year, building confidence in key areas, or getting a head start on the next year group, summer sessions can be tailored to suit their needs.

Sessions can be booked as one-offs or as discounted block bookings, and I can offer 1:1, 2:1 and small group sessions.

Tuition can take place:
🌼 Online
🌼 At my home in Colchester
🌼 At your home (subject to a travel fee)
🌼 In a community venue such as a library or community centre (venue hire costs will be shared between pupils where applicable)

I was thrilled today to receive this message and photo from Lukas’ mum letting me know how he did on his Friday spellings!
Lukas has been working really hard each week to learn and practise his spellings, it’s so wonderful to see his hard work paying off. Well done Lukas! 🌟

I was so pleased to receive this message from Arthur’s mum this evening. Arthur has been working hard on his story writing each week and producing some wonderful work. Today, he took his work to school and was rewarded for his efforts. Way to go, Arthur! 🌟

I’m so pleased to share that I’m currently fully booked for tutoring slots, and I’ve already started a waiting list.

Thank you so much to everyone for your continued support — it truly means a lot. There are still many things I’d love to achieve within my tuition, but for now I’m going to see how things run as they are.

Tuition is now my sole focus, supporting children’s learning in school by revisiting and approaching concepts in a way that makes sense to them, and at a pace that feels right.

Group tuition is continuing to gather interest, although we’re not quite at the point with any year group where I feel it would be appropriate to begin running sessions. Hello to everyone who has recently come across or joined my page, it really means the world!

The idea of tutoring has been a dream in the pipeline for several years. Now I’m finally taking the plunge, and from January 2026 my focus will be on providing tuition both within and outside of the school day and stepping away from the Primary and SEND classrooms where I’ve been for 17 years!

It’s both super exciting and a little scary, but I’m feeling really motivated and looking forward to this next step.
