We are delighted to announce our successful Ofsted pre registration visit. 💚🌟
We have been busy creating rich learning environments based on the Holistic child. Within Lamb's Orchard we have designed a music area using logs and a stage area 🎼 to enable the children's creativity and imagination, independence and collaboration.
Locally sourced sweet chestnut posts support hammocks for the children to sway in together, reading stories and listening to the nearby cuckoo in the woods.

Nature Nursery are excited to share with you some of progress over the last week. 🌱🐾
We now have a wood store for our log burner to snuggle down in our cosy yurt.
Balancing beams in Badger's garden and rope walks in our woods great for agility, balance and building core strength for our little ones..
Emma South our Education officer has been busy creating resources using wooden discs to develop early literacy skills, maths -shapes, space and measure. Thank you Emma 😀

Nursery planting crab apple trees in our meadow🌅🍎.
Did you know crab apples (Malus) produce masses of brightly coloured flowers in the spring, followed by crab apple fruit in the autumn? Once matured these will create perfect pollinator magnets attracting bees and other pollinators to the meadow, not to mention perfect for eating under the shade in the autumn sunshine..
A huge thank you to Eco Colchester group for donating these beautiful trees 🌱💚.
