NAL Spanish & French Tutoring

Had my first session with my first tutee this afternoon! Here's what we managed to achieve in the hour's session: (current Year 11 GCSE French student)

1. I got a breakdown of their previous mock results, this quickly allowed me to see where their gaps were, which will help plan future sessions!

2. Went through each mock paper, analysing each question to see what they had done and what strategies they could have used to increase their marks. I then gave them a booklet to help with their speaking exam.

3. We talked through their previous revision, discussed what they were currently doing and how I could help with this.

4. Provided the student with a revision booklet, to allow them to see what they needed to know - I have asked them to RAG this ahead of the next session to see what they are confident on and where they need support.

5. Made a 5-point plan of action - things they and I would agree to do ahead of the next session!
