Do You Feel Overwhelmed During Doctor Visits?

Have you ever left a doctor's appointment feeling more confused than when you arrived? You’re not alone. Many of us, especially those balancing busy lives and careers, struggle to communicate effectively with our doctors. We often feel rushed and unheard, leaving us uncertain about our health.

Imagine this: You’ve finally managed to schedule an appointment after weeks of waiting. You walk into the doctor’s office, hopeful that this visit will provide the answers you need. But as soon as you sit down, the rapid-fire questions begin. You try to explain your symptoms, but it’s hard to put your pain and worries into words. The doctor is hurried, typing notes, barely making eye contact. You leave with a prescription and a vague sense of what’s next, but deep down, you’re still unsure. Sound familiar?

The truth is, many people face this exact scenario. It’s frustrating and disheartening to feel like your concerns aren’t fully addressed. You deserve better. Your health and well-being are too important to be sidelined.

If you agree that our health deserves more than a rushed appointment, share this post!

Ever wondered how to reduce pain when getting out of a chair?

Getting out of a chair might seem simple, but it can be a painful and challenging experience for many. This difficulty often stems from a lack of strength and muscle mass, which can decline with age.

Did you know that after age 30, your strength, muscle, and power decline by approximately 3-8% per decade, accelerating even more after 60?

The good news is that it's never too late to start building strength and regaining independence.

In my latest article, I explore why getting out of a chair is challenging, the consequences of not addressing this issue, and provide a step-by-step guide to help you improve your ability to rise from a seated position with less pain.

Want your knees and tendons to feel great?

Try adding tempo to your squats!

Here’s why it can make a big difference šŸ‘‡

Adding a tempo to your squats means controlling the speed of your movement, particularly during the lowering (eccentric) phase. This isn’t just about making the exercise harder; it’s about gaining better control and strength throughout the entire range of motion.

What are the Benefits of Adding Tempo?

ā±ļø Increased Time Under Tension - Slower movements mean your muscles and tendons spend more time under tension. This is crucial for tendons, which need more time and slower movements to get adequate blood flow.

🩸Improved Blood Flow - Enhanced blood flow to the tendons means they get the nutrients they need to recover and adapt. This added blood flow helps tendons feel better and adapt at a rate more comparable to our muscles.

šŸ’Ŗ Enhanced Strength and Stability - Controlling your squat tempo helps in building strength evenly across the entire movement, improving stability and reducing the risk of injury.

Here’s an example šŸ‘‡
At a basic level, I like to say ā€˜slower down than up.’ If you want a tempo that your knees and tendons will really love, go for 3 seconds up and 3 seconds down without pausing at the top or bottom.

By incorporating tempo squats into your routine, you can support better knee and tendon health, making your workouts more effective and sustainable🦵

Ready to give tempo squats a try? Double-tap if you’re in! Share this with a friend who needs to take care of their knees and tendons too! šŸ‹ļøā€ā™‚ļøšŸ’Ŗ

I'm looking for 5 people who want to get out of pain and back to a life they can enjoy to the fullest!

Do any of these sound like you or anyone you know?
- Is knee pain holding you back?
-Do you worry that resting isn’t enough, but you're unsure if anything else can truly help?
- Do you find yourself missing out on holidays because of chronic back pain, despite following all your doctor’s advice?
- You've heard exercise might help, but you're afraid it will worsen your pain?
- Perhaps you continue to workout despite chronic shoulder pain because it helps your mental health.
- You've been getting weekly massages or adjustments for years without making long-term changes.
- You avoid doctors because you're tired of being told the same old things: "Just lose weight," or "Try another injection."

If you're nodding yes, you're not alone.

I've worked and continue to work with people in the same situation as you. They had been in pain for years and couldn't live their life the way they wanted. Now they are free from back pain and booking holidays abroad for the first time in 12 years. They can move around and navigate life without knee pain for the first time in years. They can go to work without worrying about their shoulder after years of worrying about whether they will have to change careers!

I understand that you've probably tried physio exercises, stretches, injections, and countless doctor' visits with no real progress. You might even find that resting isn’t helping, and your pain seems to be getting worse.

Why am I looking for you? Because you deserve better.

You deserve to live a life free of compromises and quick fixes.

My approach is different.

I work best with people ready to break free from the cycle of temporary solutions and truly transform their health.

šŸ‘‰ If this sounds like you, or someone you know, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s get you moving towards a life where chronic pain doesn't hold you back.

Share this with someone who needs to see it, or reach out directly to start your journey to recovery.

Together, let's redefine what’s possible. You deserve a life full of activities you love – without the fear of pain.

šŸ“© DM me now to learn more about how I can help, or tag someone who needs to see this!
