🎭 Special Performance for Year 11: Dead End is Coming to Paxman Academy! 🎭

We are excited to welcome the team behind Dead End to Paxman Academy on Monday, 5th October for an exclusive live performance for our Year 11 students!

Dead End is a powerful, hard-hitting drama production designed specifically to engage young people on crucial issues like choices, consequences, safety, and personal responsibility as they navigate through secondary school and beyond.

🌟 Hero in Our Community & School! 🌟

We couldn't be prouder to see Paxman Academy teacher Nicole Presland featured on BBC News after receiving a police award for bravery!

Nicole stepped in to save a woman in distress near the A12, showing extraordinary courage, compassion, and quick thinking until emergency services arrived. Chief Constable Rachel Nolan awarded Nicole and two other brave passers-by at Essex Police headquarters for their lifesaving actions.

Her heroism is a true inspiration to our students and staff every single day! 🌟

Paxman PTA is thrilled to announce our brand-new Youth Hub—a free, supervised space for Year 7 students and Year 6 feeder primary pupils to hang out, make friends, and have fun!

📅 When: Once a month on Fridays, 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
🗓️ First Dates: September 25th & October 16th
📍 Where: Paxman Academy
🎟️ Cost: FREE entry! (A tuck shop will be open with snacks and drinks available to purchase)

✏️ Exploring Tone, Light & Shading in Art!

🍐Our students have been hard at work mastering tone and shading techniques in Art!
