My client wasn’t 100% sure on jewellery at their piercing appointment - we have an extensive range in our cabinets but sometimes people have a vision! - so, after a brief chat, we decided to order in time for the downsize appointment.

The most stunning (and only) cut of Scottish Carnelian that I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

I couldn’t have been happier when the message came through requesting a fresh daith with this jewellery (of course it was Kiri Henday who else 🤷🏼‍♀️).

This piece has been aptly named Sunflower Eyes - created by the wonderful hawnhandmade 🌻

Although possible to do all 3 at once we decided against it.
We assess many factors when deciding which (if any) additions are appropriate; how many piercings are currently healing? Do you have fresh piercings on both ears? Have you ever had any cartilage piercings before? What is your general health/healing like? Etc etc.
These questions may be boring and it’s hard to hear no sometimes but it is a big part of your consultation/anatomy checks prior to piercing. The last thing you want to do is overload your body with too many things to heal at once and I’m here to make sure we have lifetime results!

So, we started with one, we’ll keep a close eye on everything healing then potentially add one or two more in a few months time.
I’m also not opposed to adding spikes on your vertical helix’s, however, the flat back will be on top and spike on bottom to avoid accidental snags - once we have assessed healing in a few months we can flip them the other way round.

~ Main hours update ~

In response to my lil story poll last week, I am changing my main hours to accommodate more of you whilst maintaining consecutive days of for myself.

I will now be closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays (instead of Thursdays & Fridays) & will be adding Fridays back on effective May 4th bank holiday 💕
I will still be working the last Sunday of the month! Instead of switching it out for the Saturday, il be swapping it for Thursday.
Example;
Week 1: Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat.
Week 2: Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat.
Week 3: Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat
Week 4, Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun.

My hours will be the same; 10am-6pm (Sunday 10am-4pm).
Bookings are a must! If you don’t book, you are not guaranteed service - I am self employed, if I have a gap in my day I will be filling it with something productive so if you rock up without an appointment and I’m not there that’s on you 🫵👀

Of course, my weeks will depend on annual leave (training days, holidays etc). I will always give notice of these as I currently do and will substitute for other days so you don’t miss out 🫶🏼
If there’s a day I now don’t work that works best for you give me a heads up cause I may offer those days as a substitute day and can keep you updated.

Thanks for bearing with me on any changes to the routine. Hopefully these days/hours work better for the majority x

Stocking this company was a one off as I bought them from the .v conference, it was great to see these pieces in person before purchasing (I especially loved their titanium clicker rings and all of the solid gold attachments!).
Great price point and plenty of options to choose from!

Transparency incoming - I would’ve turned this down if it was anyone else. I also wouldn’t have got this photo if it was anyone else.
The scarring from previous piercings was there, the chances of them healing were slimmer but against all odds April can heal pretty much anything. April is also my friend and a very willing candidate for safe/educated experimentation. Invaluable.

It’s also good to note that leaving needles in to take a photo isn’t something I encourage. Swift procedures are best so once that wound has been created, get that jewellery in to minimise risk - appreciate anyone who has let me take a pic in between 👌🏼

Healed work in the wild!

I had the wonderful stop by to get jewellery swapped for retainers. When she came back we got them all cleaned up and put back in so she could feel herself again!

15ct Gengar from .jewelry 🥝
Accompanied by Sapphire Gemmed Hera and standard 18ct Hera in the second and third lobe - all pierced by me a couple years ago (the infamous curly lobes) 🌊

I’m obsessed with the size of these pieces, they really got it bang on so you can visually distinguish the details whilst maintaining a level of delicacy 🤌🏼
