Cheryl's Childminding Service

The autumn term we had new children start with others heading to start their school journey. We took trips to the park, natural history museum, Halloween, watching the remembrance service and doing our Christmas crafts.

The children loved doing their Fathers Day card with the older children writing there own names in the card. They then all did their own designs on the envelopes.

We walked to the shop to buy the ingredients, children helped to scan the items and choose colours. They made cupcakes for their family, weighing out, scooping, mixing and adding colour. Lots of fun had decorating.

Christmas crafts and shortbread making given to parents.

Over half term the children made some spiders and bats. They chose how they decorated them and the colour.

Fathers Day gifts and cards. Children chose the colour they wanted to use and one child chose the cards to make.

Children had fun measuring, rolling and cutting to make heart shaped biscuits for their families.

Children had lots of fun making their Christmas crafts. When making them we looked at the shape and colours, with others the texture. They made reindeer sparkle by measuring it out then scooping into their pots.
We had a child leave the setting and wish them the very best.

Children had fun this week making gingerbread. Measure, counting, stirring, rolling cutting and tasting.

The children have been busy over the last few months, collecting leaves and sticks. Looking at colours making black cats and spiders for Halloween. Watching and counting squirrels on our walks and making Poppy wreaths for remembrance day.
