Words can’t describe that moment when your couples say ‘I do’ when they have their first kiss 💋 when they hear their love story 😍 and when they exchange their ring’s💍 The rings they will look at everyday and remember the day they married. The promises made.

I feel so lucky to be a part of every wedding 💒 I do, it’s a privilege to get to know my couples, find out what makes them tick, and all the things they don’t like as well. And then crafting their ceremony to perfectly fit them.

These are just a few photos from a wedding in the summer, a wedding where I got to marry such a lovely couple 🩷💒

If you are planning a celebrant led ceremony and you want to find out about me drop me a DM or give me a call and we can talk all about your love story 🥰

This is why I do what I do.

It’s feedback like this that means everything to me 💛

Rachel orchestrated the funeral service for my darling wife, Jan.
Through chats with myself and our two adult children, Rachel was able to build a picture of Jan, and wrote a eulogy and crafted a service which perfectly reflected her. Many attendees said that they had never been to a more personalised service.

Rachel was charming, unassuming and very professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone seeking a celebrant.

Your wedding ceremony shouldn’t feel like something to “get through”.

It should feel like one of the best parts of the day.

Personal. Joyful. Meaningful. Fun

And there’ll probably be laughter, a few tears and always sealed with a 💋

A little reminder that funerals don’t have to be dark to be meaningful.

This week I had the absolute honour of leading a service and burial for D 💕
A neon pink coffin, covered in beautiful and tasteful transfers of a cartoon character she loved and a service full of laughter, stories and love.

Her family wanted it uplifting, fun and full of personality just like her.

Tears and laughter can sit side by side. Sometimes celebrating a life is the best goodbye.

My funeral poem of the week

Funeral Blues by Anton Jarvis

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message ‘He is Dead’.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

Another wedding booked for 2026

This one is a mid week wedding booked for September 🩷

If you are thinking of getting married mid week I would say GO FOR IT!

There are so many benefits- a lot of wedding suppliers do mid week discounts (me included) and often more are available so you can often book and plan a wedding quicker than you thought.

You’ll find venues are less booked up and offer loads discounts too- so your dream wedding doesn’t have to be out of budget.

Some guests may struggle mid week but hopefully with plently of notice they’ll be able to make it for the most magical day of yours!

DM me for information on how to make your ceremony dreamy and magical 😍😍😍

5 STAR REVIEW

Rachel was absolutely brilliant!

Me and my wife were in a sticky spot and I called Rachel all of 2 weeks out from our big day and she made time for us, met us, made a beautiful personalised service and truly helped make our day special.
Further credit for not being slightly fazed by our nutty daughter running down the aisle =]

Thanks against Rachel! x

Today I had the honour of being the celebrant for a lovely man, a dad, grandad and true gentleman.

Being a celebrant is something I never take for granted—it’s not just about the words I speak, but the feeling in the room, the memories shared, the deep love that lingers even in loss.

Funerals are never easy. But there’s something about creating a moment that helps people feel seen, held and comforted.

In his final farewell piece his family and friends placed a single rose on his coffin. A sentimental gesture that the family felt was fitting.

It’s not easy saying goodbye, but I always show up with care, calm and compassion. Because the goodbye matters.

🌿 Dreaming of an Outdoor Wedding in the UK? ☀️🌧️

Picture it, the charm of saying “I do” under big skies, with birdsong in the background and nature as your aisle décor… It’s no wonder outdoor weddings are growing in popularity here in the UK! 🇬🇧💍

Pros? Oh, we’ve got plenty:
✨ Nature’s backdrop – think rolling hills, woodlands, beaches, gardens, or even your Nan’s blooming back garden. No filter needed.
✨ Freedom & flexibility – create your own vibe, layout, and flow without the four walls of a venue.
✨ Gorgeous light – your photographer will LOVE you for that golden hour glow.
✨ Relaxed atmosphere – guests tend to feel more chilled outdoors (plus, kids can run wild and free… within reason 😅).

But let’s keep it real for a sec:
🌦️ British weather. Enough said.
🪑 Logistics – uneven ground + high heels = a potential sinkhole situation.

What can we do about it?
🌂 Have a solid Plan B! A stretch tent, marquee or even a cute barn on standby = no soggy guests or frizzy vows.
👠 Warn the guests – “It’s a grassy field, babe. Maybe not the day for stilettos.”
🎤 Get a celebrant who knows how to roll with it – come rain or shine, I’ve got you (and my waterproof vow book).

If you’re planning your big day under the open sky and want a ceremony that feels just as wild, free and you as the setting – I’m here for it. Let’s make some outdoor magic ✨

DM me to get chatting about your dream 💭 outdoor wedding 💒
