Our Ducklings children have had a fantastic time exploring their creativity and celebrating their love of football with the world cup started this week! ⚽🎨

The children enjoyed making colourful flags and designing their own football tops. They also had lots of fun engaging in sensory and imaginative play with our football-themed tuff tray, where they could explore, discover, and develop their fine motor skills.

It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork throughout the activities. Well done, Ducklings! 🦆💛

Today we had a very special visit from a local children's author, Carla Gunn, who this year released her very first children's book called 'What letter shall we look at today?'. 📖

This book supports children's understanding of emotions, self regulation and more by questions asked throughout the book, involving different animals and everyday scenarios they may recognise and understand, in turn helping each child to develop their Personal, Social and Emotional skills.🦘

A big thank you to Carla for taking the time to visit and share her wonderful book with us and the children, it was truly appreciated!🫶🏼

What a cracking afternoon 🐣 spent with our wonderful families who joined in with the Easter fun in preschool today🐰

We enjoyed egg painting🖌, nest cake making 🍫🪹, Easter egg hunting 🥚and playdough fun 😁.

We then finished it off with some hot cross buns and announcing the winners of the Easter bonnet competition, all of which were amazing so well done everyone👒

Well done to all the team that helped make today happen too, we couldn't do it without you 🫶🏼

Once again, thank you all for coming, it was lovely to see the children enjoying all the activities alongside their families💜

Our at annual staff safeguarding meeting, each room brought a snack board. We Enjoyed this whilst refreshing our knowledge and understanding of such as important topic. 💛🧡💚❤️

On Monday our Baby room held a Mothers day stay and play! They enjoyed flower arranging, canvas creating and cupcake decorating! Thank you to all our Mummies who joined us! 💐💜

The Easter celebrations are in full swing and the Easter bunnies have arrived 🐰

This morning we had a visit from the wonderful Gemma's farm, the children thoroughly enjoyed handling and petting the Rabbits, baby chick's, guinea pigs and can't forget Pig the dog! 🐾🐣🐰
