Playing, exploring, creating 🍂🍁🤎

A morning at our local park, where babies listened to the rustling of the leaves, the noises of airplanes, birds and the world around them.
Enjoying crawling under and up climbing frames and swinging together on the swings.

To our toddlers who who curious to explore, collect, count and dig! Coming back to decorate our sticks using paint sticks.

Fresh air, and all babies are enjoying a well earn't nap after lots of bum shuffling, pulling to standing and walking. 🥰

That's the end of our week, next week will be everything orange! 🧡🤎

A day of play, using broth mix for our Autumn themed outdoor sensory play tray. 🥄
Mashing, pouring and mixing skills!

Today the children were heavily interested in books, noticing this we have added a book area into our outdoor play, support their love for reading. 📖

At the weekend I made my families Autumn bags, I can't wait to see what you all find! ✨

Ending the day with an evening of training learning about 'Avoidant Eating in the Early Years'. With our local hub, REACHout Early Years Stronger Practice Hub East of England🍴

A lovely Monday morning spent with my 4 at West Bergholt baby and toddler group. 🤎

Allowing children the opportunity to explore new environments with me close by.
To enhance their independent play skills whilst I observe new interests.

Developing those important social and sharing skills needed later in life. ✨

Ending with singing time 🎶🎵

We have welcomed back the wonderful Tasha from Talking Tots Colchester.

I have been welcoming Talking Tots into the setting for 3 years now.
I highly recommend these classes to support children in their communication skills (from speaking to understanding and listening and attention).

Tasha captures all the children's attention using music, movement and props.

Thank you Tasha, it's lovely to have you back! ✨

Monday morning has been busy, practicing our gross motor development at soft play 🤎

Lots of learning how to climb, using co-ordination skills.
Toddlers enjoyed role playing with the balls pretending they were apples 🍏.
Babies are learning to sideways step independently and balancing for longer periods of time.
Great for social development, body awareness of others and learning kindness. 🫶🏻

Today we went to Clip & Climb, just be aware the lift is currently not working. But have very helpful staff! Big thank you! 😊

Our last working day of the week saw the children and babies explore their sensory trays.

Toddlers enjoyed scooping and pouring our coloured chickpeas, whilst the babies enjoyed cereal and metal pans. 🫶🏻

Whilst my babies needed an earlier nap, our toddlers got expressive using paint sticks. Working on some of the children’s next steps, sharing, colour knowledge and learning to take turns.

And a little abit of everything inbetween, from den making to our babies enjoying the posting schema play.

For some of our babies this is their first full week, we are so proud of the attachments and the strong connections we are making. Well done to you all! 🧸🤎🫶🏻
