Our very own Mr Piggott has been nominated for a STEM Educator of the Year Award for all his hard work to encourage our girls to get involved in STEM activities. What a week! Year 4’s prepped their own vegetables for homemade soup & then we cooked it on the campfire… the results were mixed… but everyone had a taste! Great practice for our residential trip next month! 🌳⛺️🌳

This week, Year 4, designed their own WW2 themed quest maps, using their orienteering skills. We were sent to battle, armed with ‘bulb grenades’ and built incredible forts using the loose parts. Everyone had a brilliant afternoon (even if they did all gang up & target me!)🌳⛺️🌳

Our Nursery Spring Dectectives were out and about again. We spotted a huge nest in the trees and had a close up look at what a ‘baby daffodil’ looks like. We listened to the birds and looked for them in the sky, then ran around playing a quick game of ‘Farmer, Farmer’ - what a great morning! 🌳⛺️🌳
