🌍🐦 Year 5 have been fantastic environmental stewards today!
They used a bird-monitoring app to record the number of birds visiting our school grounds, helping to gauge the health of our local environment. They also shared their presentations on plastic pollution with every year group, inspiring others to care for our planet.
We are so proud of Year 5 for their enthusiasm, knowledge and commitment to making a difference. Well done! 🌱💚

As a teacher, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing learning spark a passion that continues long after the classroom door has closed. Following our recent visit to Dove Cottage to learn about William Wordsworth, one exceptionally talented Year 5 pupil was so inspired by the breathtaking landscape that they went home and wrote this incredible poem.
I'm sure William and Dorothy Wordsworth would have been every bit as proud and impressed as we are.

Today has been an absolute blast for our Nursery Camping and Teddy Bear Picnic day. A huge, special thank you to the wonderful Mrs. Steel for joining the fun and bringing along the fire pit and s'mores for everyone to enjoy!

What an amazing time our Year 2 children had on their residential at Bassenfell Manor! 🌿🏕️

The children embraced every new activity with enthusiasm, courage and huge smiles. It was wonderful to see them challenging themselves, making memories and growing in confidence throughout the trip.

For many, this was their first time staying away from home, making their achievements even more special. We are so proud of every single one of them for showing resilience, kindness and a fantastic attitude.

A huge well done to all of our wonderful Year 2 children—you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves! 💙✨

Our Year 3 children have been developing their cutting and peeling skills throughout the week, building their confidence and learning how to prepare ingredients safely. This morning, they put those skills into practice by making delicious vegetable tarts. It has been wonderful to see their teamwork and enthusiasm in the kitchen. They were so proud of their creations—and they tasted absolutely delicious! 🥕🧑‍🍳
