It is fantastic to see the transformation taking shape as we create an improved outdoor space for our pupils to enjoy for learning, sport and play. Thank you to everyone who has supported this project so far. We look forward to sharing more updates as the development continues.

🌟 Celebrating Collaboration Across Learning for Life Trust 🌟

At the heart of the Learning for Life Trust is a shared commitment: working together to give every child the very best opportunities to fulfil their potential.

We’re incredibly proud of the way our schools collaborate—sharing ideas, resources, and expertise—to make sure all children, regardless of background or setting, can access rich and inspiring enrichment experiences.

From joint trips and creative arts projects to shared sports events and curriculum-enhancing activities, our schools are breaking down barriers and widening horizons. By pooling strengths and supporting one another, we’re ensuring that no child misses out on those “wow” moments that spark curiosity, build confidence, and create lifelong memories.

This is what true collaboration looks like: a community of schools united by a common purpose, where every child benefits from collective effort and shared vision.

As we enter Sports Day season in schools, it was wonderful to see such supportive collaboration between Fairfield Primary School and Cockermouth School last week.

As Fairfield are without a school field due to the development work currently taking place, Cockermouth School stepped in and not only provided a wonderful venue but also provided staff and sports leaders to ensure the children had an amazing experience. Well done all!
