Our tuff trying full of mixing, pouring and exploring with our senses, making patterns and marks. Our dough table using one handed tools, building our pre-writing muscles. Our log pile house…. Learning about habitats and what our bugs and insects here in our garden like! Lastly, some sticky tape and our imaginations…. We chose to balance, jump over and use our cars to create a track! We ensure all activities help develop our curriculum and our children’s learning. We add in counting, sorting, sharing, and extend language opportunities within all that we do.

A little bit of nursery life! Ivy House is a homely, rustic space that is always growing and evolving, just like the children who spend their days here. We believe in real childhood experiences…… muddy boots, well-loved mud kitchens, natural gardens, and open-ended play. You’ll find no artificial grass here; just a real garden where children can explore, create, and connect with nature in every season.

We’ve loved caring for our little fluffy friends. Such a wonderful learning opportunity for our children. We’ve been gentle, listened to our grown ups and just loved having them around! Until next time our little friends! Thank you!

We have created our very own lending library! Reading books together, looking at the pictures, being exposed to text and print, talking together, developing listening skills, learning to turn the pages, responding to questions… the learning opportunities really are endless. Now is the time to develop a lifelong love of reading 📚And we are excited!!!
