Our World Challenge adventurers have now completed an unforgettable journey through Borneo. 🥾
The second half of their adventure saw the students take on the challenging four-day Banbamgan Trail trek, carrying their backpacks through intense heat, humidity and rugged jungle trails. Each night, they set up camp beneath the stars, earning some well-deserved rest after days of remarkable resilience and determination. ⛺🌿
Along the way, students learned from remote communities, contributed to a rainforest conservation service project, and visited the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre - gaining a deeper understanding of Borneo’s extraordinary wildlife and the importance of protecting it. 🦧
From rope bridges and spectacular sunsets, to muddy trails and campfire stories, this expedition has been an incredible adventure of teamwork, perseverance and growth. We are immensely proud of everything our students have achieved - well done to all who took part in the challenge! 👏

🎾 A fantastic end-of-term experience! 🌟
Our students headed to Eastbourne before the end of term for the Lexus Eastbourne Open 2026 Tennis Tournament, enjoying a brilliant day of world-class tennis and courtside excitement.
They loved meeting some of the stars of the game, capturing photos, collecting autographs, and even meeting the legendary Sir Andy Murray. 🤩

Our World Challenge students arrived in Borneo last week and have since been embracing every opportunity to learn, lead and explore! 🌴
From discovering the fascinating history of Kota Kinabalu and watching breathtaking sunsets over the sea, to sampling local flavours at the market, everyday so far has offered a deeper insight into Bornean culture and life. 🌊☀️
A key part of the expedition is student leadership. Each day, our student group rotate through roles including Day Boss, Safety Officer, Accountant, Wellbeing Lead, Photographer and Food Coordinator. They’re responsible for managing budgets, planning meals, coordinating with the ground crew, organising drink breaks and supporting one another’s wellbeing.
So far, the adventure has been filled with unforgettable experiences, from snorkelling and kayaking around the local island, to a beach BBQ and exploring the region’s incredible marine life. 🏝️🐠
Stay tuned for Part 2 as the expedition continues into the jungle!
