At Cobham Hall, we aspire to produce extraordinary girls, each extraordinary in her own way. We believe education is about showing them that with the right knowledge, skills and attitude, the possibilities are endless. We want every girl to realise there is more in her than she thinks. We believe it is the combination of five key reasons – focus on the individual, challenge and opportunities, past

“We are all one family.” ✨

Hear from Year 10 boarder Brian on the friendships, opportunities and experiences that make life at Cobham Hall so special.

At Cobham Hall, we believe every student should feel known, valued and supported. Our inclusive, close-knit community creates an environment where students can grow in confidence, explore new opportunities and build friendships that last.

For Brian, the best part of being here is the people - a community where everyone looks out for each other, embraces opportunities together, and students truly feel part of one big family. 💙

Our World Challenge adventurers have now completed an unforgettable journey through Borneo. 🥾

The second half of their adventure saw the students take on the challenging four-day Banbamgan Trail trek, carrying their backpacks through intense heat, humidity and rugged jungle trails. Each night, they set up camp beneath the stars, earning some well-deserved rest after days of remarkable resilience and determination. ⛺🌿

Along the way, students learned from remote communities, contributed to a rainforest conservation service project, and visited the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre - gaining a deeper understanding of Borneo’s extraordinary wildlife and the importance of protecting it. 🦧

From rope bridges and spectacular sunsets, to muddy trails and campfire stories, this expedition has been an incredible adventure of teamwork, perseverance and growth. We are immensely proud of everything our students have achieved - well done to all who took part in the challenge! 👏

From the first whistle to the final finish line, what a year it’s been for sport! 🏃⚽🏏

Our students have embraced every opportunity to get involved, challenge themselves and represent the School with pride. From tug of war, cross-country and trampolining, to football fixtures, coaching sessions with our Football Academy, and cricket practice with our brand-new nets in partnership with Kent Cricket, it’s been an eventful year packed with unforgettable sporting moments.

We’ve also enjoyed some fantastic inter-house rounders, an action-packed Sports Day and seeing our students represent Cobham Hall at District Athletics. 💪

A huge well done to every student who took part; we’re incredibly proud of our students for the enthusiasm, sportsmanship and growing confidence they’ve shown throughout the year. 🎉

🎾 A fantastic end-of-term experience! 🌟

Our students headed to Eastbourne before the end of term for the Lexus Eastbourne Open 2026 Tennis Tournament, enjoying a brilliant day of world-class tennis and courtside excitement.

They loved meeting some of the stars of the game, capturing photos, collecting autographs, and even meeting the legendary Sir Andy Murray. 🤩

Our World Challenge students arrived in Borneo last week and have since been embracing every opportunity to learn, lead and explore! 🌴

From discovering the fascinating history of Kota Kinabalu and watching breathtaking sunsets over the sea, to sampling local flavours at the market, everyday so far has offered a deeper insight into Bornean culture and life. 🌊☀️

A key part of the expedition is student leadership. Each day, our student group rotate through roles including Day Boss, Safety Officer, Accountant, Wellbeing Lead, Photographer and Food Coordinator. They’re responsible for managing budgets, planning meals, coordinating with the ground crew, organising drink breaks and supporting one another’s wellbeing.

So far, the adventure has been filled with unforgettable experiences, from snorkelling and kayaking around the local island, to a beach BBQ and exploring the region’s incredible marine life. 🏝️🐠

Stay tuned for Part 2 as the expedition continues into the jungle!

Students, staff and parents came together to celebrate the end of another wonderful year at our annual Festival Day. 🎉

The morning commenced with refreshments followed by inspiring speeches, and it was a pleasure to welcome back Cobham Hall Elder, Tina Campbell, who has now proudly worked at the BBC as a broadcaster for more than 40 years.

Our former Guardian, Grace, delivered a heartfelt speech reflecting on her years at Cobham Hall, sharing her fondness for the community she has been a part of since Year 7 and will treasure as she embarks on her next chapter.

The occasion was made even more special with words of gratitude from our newly appointed Guardian, Jinnie, who took to the stage and shared a wonderful speech with our community.

Afterwards, we enjoyed incredible student music performances and poetry readings, continuing the celebrations with a summer BBQ in the stunning surroundings of Lady Darnley’s Gardens.

Thank you to all who attended and took part in making this year’s Festival Day such a memorable occasion. 💙
