We believe there’s strength in doing things in the way that comes naturally to you.

We’re a small team at Studio Windsor, and with that comes trust, trusting each person to bring their own strengths, instincts and way of working to the table.

One of us is methodical.
Another is proactive.
Someone else might be the one who questions, experiments, problem-solves or sees something differently.

We don’t all work in the same way, and we don’t think we should.

Long gone are the days when a team had to fit the same mould to work well. We believe the best collaborations happen when people have the space to work authentically, are open to trying new things, aren’t afraid to admit where they have weaknesses and trust each other to fill the gaps.

Different ways of working. Different strengths.

A GENTLE REMINDER THAT SOMETIMES PATIENCE IS PART OF THE PROCESSā€¦šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

Small Wonders: The little moments of beauty we notice when we slow down - wildlife, changing seasons, unexpected details. A gentle reminder to notice nature.

On a sunny, rather summery-feeling autumn Sunday, after visiting our absolute favourite playground, Magic Garden, we wandered around the gardens at Hampton Court Palace and spotted this beautiful heron resting at the edge of the water…So we slowed right down to watch.

Patiently waiting. Watching. Ready to dive into action the second the moment was right.

It made us think about how often we feel like we need to rush towards the thing we want, when sometimes catching the big things requires a little patience. Maybe there’s something to be said for being still, keeping your eyes open and trusting that the right moment will come.

NEW ERA unlocked! šŸ˜‚

As parents to young kids we just don’t always have the luxury to experience the ā€œoutdoor lifeā€ pass 6:30pm and frankly the occasional evening dinner dates can be a little too many yawn and maybe a little PTSD for having to return to chore immediately after. Anyone else?

So we have swapped our childfree dates to day dates! Perfect feels like a reward!! Because ALL adulting day life brings these days is woooork…and not so much play!

So if this sounds like you and you fancy a little day date 1.5h creative escape then come see us at THE DRAWING ROOM for pottery painting Wed - Sat 10-3pm! See you soon!

September has always felt like a little reset to me.

A chance to pause, start again and make space for the things that have been pushed to the bottom of the list.

So we created Root & Gather two hours to slow down, get creative and reconnect

Sometimes you don’t need another thing to achieve.

You just need somewhere to sit down, breathe, make something with your hands and have a proper conversation.

That’s what we’re hoping Root & Gather can be a little pause from the usual pace of life.

So what is it actually?

A gentle, grown-up morning combining movement, breathwork, creativity and connection.

Poppy Poppy D will guide you through some gentle movement and grounding, before Annabel Annabel Hocking takes you through botanical printing, collage and creative reflection.

No creative experience needed. šŸ¤

You’ll be making your own piece using botanical-inspired techniques, collage and creative prompts.

Think less ā€œart class where you have to be goodā€ and more ā€œI haven’t done anything like this in ages and I’m really enjoying myself.ā€

Come curious. We’ll take care of the rest.

Maybe September is your excuse to finally make some time for yourself.

Come alone. Bring your bestie. Come meet someone new.

Just give yourself two hours to Root & Gather. 🌿

September reset mode: ON šŸ¤

September to me is basically January in disguise.

A little reset. A little rethink. A chance to start again without the pressure of becoming an entirely new person. I always feel like I’ve got a spring in my step & anitch to starr something…

So today’s studio reset looked like refilling paint pots, sorting the pottery shelf and getting everything ready for a busy weekend of pottery painting birthday celebrations we are hosting!

And if you’re feeling like you need a little reset of your own… Root & Gather is happening 19 September šŸ“ THE DRAWING ROOM - use GATHER10 to get 10% off your first booking with us.
