It was wonderful to welcome ACS Hillingdon alumnus Thore Schuchardt back to school, alongside his wife and their three children. ❤️

Thore attended ACS Hillingdon from 1993 to 1996 and, after graduating, returned to Germany where he went on to spend 15 years serving in the military before transitioning into a career in IT.

During his visit, Thore reflected warmly on his time at ACS and the very positive experience he had as a student. He fondly remembered the late Mr Surguy, Mr Coyle, and, of course, Mrs Learnard's famous gummy bear ice cream! 🍦🐻

It was a pleasure to hear how many happy memories Thore still carries with him from his time at Hillingdon, nearly 30 years after leaving. We loved showing him around and hearing about the journey he has taken since his ACS days.

Earlier today, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Robison family back to ACS Hillingdon for a special alumni visit. LoAnn and Ron Robison shared such warm memories of their years in Beaconsfield from June 1998 to June 2002, and it was a joy to hear how meaningful their time at ACS was for the whole family.

Their children’s journeys with us were especially lovely to hear about: MaLanie completed her entire high school experience at ACS and graduated from there; MacAndrew (Drew) attended from grades 5 through 8; Marlise attended from Kindergarten through 3rd grade; and their youngest son, Richmond, began his ACS journey in preschool.

We’re so grateful for the chance to reconnect and take a walk down memory lane together. ACS Hillingdon was a wonderful experience for the Robisons, and it was clear today that those memories are still very special.

It was a pleasure to welcome Alex Judd back to ACS Hillingdon recently, along with his wife and son.

Alex attended ACS Hillingdon from 2000 to 2008 before returning to the United States with his family. It was wonderful to hear about his journey since leaving ACS, which has led to a remarkable career as an abdominal transplant surgeon.

Thank you, Alex, for taking the time to revisit your old school and share your story with us. We loved showing you and your family around and wish you continued success in your career. Once an ACS student, always part of the ACS community. 💙

We're delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the ACS International Schools Class of 2026 across the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (IBDP), IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) and Advanced Placement (AP) programme.

Across our three schools, our students achieved exceptional results that reflect their ambition, resilience and curiosity, supported every step of the way by our expert teachers, dedicated wellbeing teams and university guidance counsellors.

This year, our students achieved:

- Outstanding IB Diploma Programme average of 35 points, broadly equivalent to A*AA at A-Level and comfortably above the global average of 30.9.
- An exceptional highest IB score of 45 out of 45, the maximum possible score, with many students achieving 38 points or more.
- Impressive AP results, with an average score of 3.7 out of 5 across a wide choice of courses.
- Outstanding success in the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP), including 100% pass rates.

These achievements tell only part of the story. Behind every result is a student who has embraced challenges, pursued their passions and developed the confidence, character and compassion to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Offering exceptional breadth across the IBDP, IBCP and AP, ACS International Schools empowers every student to follow a pathway that reflects their strengths, interests and aspirations.

Our graduates are now progressing to leading universities across the UK, the US and around the world, including Oxbridge, Russell Group, Ivy League and other internationally recognised institutions, with many also receiving significant scholarship offers.

35 years later... and the friendships are as strong as ever. ❤️

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming back the ACS Hillingdon Classes of 1990 and 1991 to where their journey began.

Walking the halls together brought back memories, stories, moments of mischief, laughter and a real sense of pride. But that was just the beginning of what became an unforgettable reunion weekend.

Thirty-five years after graduation, 28 alumni travelled from across the UK, Europe, the USA, Turkey and Israel to reconnect. For many, it was the first time they had seen one another since leaving ACS. It was a powerful reminder that the friendships, sense of belonging and international community fostered at ACS truly last a lifetime.

A special thank you goes to alumnus Talal Chamsi-Pasha, whose extraordinary commitment, generosity and dedication made the reunion possible. By bringing everyone together and welcoming classmates into his home for the weekend, he created the perfect setting to reconnect, reminisce and celebrate lifelong friendships. His efforts are a wonderful example of the Spirit of an ACSer.

To all who travelled near and far to be part of this special occasion—thank you for reminding us that once you're part of the ACS community, you're always part of the ACS family.

Go Hawks!

It was a pleasure to welcome alumna Brooke Schmitt (née Alexander) and her family back to ACS Cobham earlier today!

Brooke joined ACS Cobham in Grade 1 and graduated with the Class of 2003. Now living in Texas, she returned to the UK with her husband, two young children, and her parents as part of a family holiday and took the opportunity to revisit the school that holds such a special place in her heart.

As she walked the school, Brooke shared how much she loved her time at ACS and how deeply fond her memories remain. From lifelong friendships to unforgettable experiences, ACS helped shape some of her happiest years.

Many alumni may remember Brooke as the 'founder' of the ACS Cobham Dance Team, a legacy that continues to inspire students today. It was wonderful to hear her reflections and see her sharing those cherished memories with the next generation of her family.

Thank you, Brooke, for visiting us. Once an ACS student, always part of the ACS family.

It was a pleasure to welcome the Barton family back to ACS Cobham earlier today during their visit to the UK.

Matthew Barton and Mia Barton both attended ACS Cobham in their early years. Matthew attended from Flopsy Bunnies through to Year 2 (2006–2011), while Mia attended from Flopsy Bunnies through Pre-K (2008–2011). They enjoyed revisiting the campus and reminiscing about their time here. It was wonderful to hear both their memories and those of their parents, and to see the lasting connection they continue to have with our school community.

A special highlight was seeing Matthew reunited with his Year 2 teacher, Mrs Teresa Jankowska (then Miss Rey), pictured here together once again many years later.

We love welcoming alumni and former families back to campus and seeing firsthand how ACS connections endure long after students leave our classrooms.
