💛 This week’s Monochromatic Insta Hop is all about Daffodil Delight, & I couldn't resist creating something bright, fresh & full of sunshine! This cheerful colour always makes me smile, & I love how it pairs with touches of black & gold for a design that's both elegant and eye-catching.

For this card, I used the beautiful Flourish & Frames Bundle, combining gold hot foiling, ink blending, hand-stamped & drawn details to create plenty of depth while keeping Daffodil Delight as the star of the show. The sweet bees add the perfect finishing touch!

✨ Details I'm loving:
• Daffodil Delight ink blended through the centre of the Flourishing Frames die-cut focal panel
• Gorgeous gold hot foiled details created with the Flourishing Frames dies
• Hand drawn pen lines adding a relaxed, artistic feel
• Honeycomb Designer Series Paper bringing subtle texture to the background
• Cute stamped bees, coloured with Stampin' Blends and fussy cut by hand
• Bold black ribbon, black splatter and three floral gems for the perfect finishing touches

I love mixing elegant techniques like hot foiling with simple stamping and ink blending. Together they create a card that's clean, bright and full of handcrafted detail while letting Daffodil Delight really shine. 💛

✨ Welcome to this month's Group 4 Artisan Design Team Instagram Hop! ✨

This month we were challenged to create with the beautiful Simply Leaves Bundle, & I wanted to show just how much more this bundle can do than simply create autumn cards. 🍂💕

I created three very different projects to showcase just how versatile this bundle can be:

🍃 For my first project, I created a soft, dreamy landscape by adding ink onto a clear block, spritzing with water & stamping it onto watercolour paper. Once dry, I stamped one of the delicate skeleton leaves over the background to create a simple yet striking focal point.

🍃 For my second project, I took the bundle in a completely different direction. I built up a richly textured background using torn paper, ink blending & an embossed leaf design before layering the heat embossed & punched leaves to create lots of depth and movement. It's a reminder that leaves aren't just for autumn—they're perfect all year round.

🌹 And finally... I couldn't resist seeing what else the leaf punch could create! With a little imagination (and some pink vellum), the punched leaves became a beautifully dimensional rose. I love discovering unexpected ways to stretch my craft supplies.

What I love most about the Simply Leaves Bundle is how effortlessly it encourages you to think beyond the obvious. Whether your style is clean and simple, rich and layered, or somewhere in between, this bundle has so much creative potential.

💜 This week’s Insta Hop is celebrating Highland Heather, and I couldn’t resist creating a card that lets this beautiful soft purple take centre stage.

For this design, I used the gorgeous Sweetly Sentimental Bundle. The flower was white heat embossed before being water coloured. Paired with the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder and the shimmering Splashes of Sparkle Designer Series Paper, the result is a card full of texture, elegance and sparkle.

✨ Details I'm loving:
• Sweetly Sentimental flower white heat embossed and water coloured with re-inkers
• Foiled sentiment adding a luxurious finishing touch
• Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder creating elegant background texture
• Splashes of Sparkle Designer Series Paper adding subtle shimmer and shine
• A subtle mix of shimmery ribbon and embellishments creating plenty of depth and interest

White heat embossing is one of my favourite techniques for water colouring. It keeps the detail beautifully crisp while allowing the re-inkers to blend effortlessly, creating soft layers of colour and a delicate painted effect. It's a technique I come back to time and time again for floral images. 💜
