🌟 WE HAVE SOME VERY EXCITING NEWS! 🌟

Myself and the entire Shining Stars team are absolutely delighted, honoured and honestly a little bit emotional to have been awarded an “Excellence Award” at this year’s North Lanarkshire Provost Awards! 🥹💛

Shining Stars means so much to all of us. What started as a dream has grown into something incredibly special, and every single day our team pours their heart, soul and everything they have into making Shining Stars the welcoming, inclusive and magical place that it is. 🌟

To be recognised in this way means more to us than we can put into words. There are so many people who make Shining Stars what it is — our incredible team, our wonderful members and their families, and everyone who continues to believe in what we do. 💛

And to the very kind person who took the time to nominate us — THANK YOU! 🥹🌟
You have no idea how much this recognition means to us.

We are so incredibly proud of our little team and everything we have achieved together, and we cannot wait to get dressed up and celebrate at the ceremony in a few weeks! ✨🏆

Let me tell you a little bit about Shining Stars & the team at Balloons 4u ...

When I first started Shining Stars 11 years ago, Tommy was right there. He offered to sponsor Shining Stars, he designed our flyers, banners, events and anything else we needed throughout the years.
He unfortunately wasn't in great health for a number of years, but he still carried on supporting Shining Stars. Every year he was at the awards ceremony presenting awards, making sure we had prizes for events and so much more that no-one seen.

He unfortunately passed away a few years ago, but his wife and daughter, Claire and Lauren carry on the wonderful partnership we have. They continue to hold an annual fundraiser for Shining Stars every year, they put their heart and soul into it. They're all amazing.

Although Tommy isn't here, I know he's so incredibly proud of Claire and Lauren today on raising an incredible £1542.92 for us at Shining Stars. Myself and my team are forever thankful for everything they do for us. They've given us so much more exposure, new sponsors, and are the most wonderful, kind people we've ever met and are lucky to work along side at Shining Stars.

Thank you for everything, Ladies and everyone else at the Market, and all the outside vendors for the day you put on every year for us. 💛

I know Tommy would be smiling up there looking down on today, and proud as anything with what his girls put on. 💛🪽

Today's the day at Forge-Market Glasgow - come along and have some fun. Lauren, Claire and all the team have put in a tremendous effort at their annual funday to raise funds for us at Shining Stars.
