Year 4 have been having fun in music lessons this week. We have been learning about music through the theme of rivers.

In our art lesson this week in EYFS, we had lots of fun going on a circle hunt! We looked in our classroom and our playground and found circles hiding everywhere,from buttons to balls,counters to tyres,circles are all around us.

Year 2 have been finding out about technology that we use at school and in the wider world. They sorted IT into whether we find it inside or outside.

Year 3 have had lots of fun this week in their lessons. They have sorted rocks into groups and learnt about the Italian form of drawing called Chiaroscuro in art!

This week in Computing, Year 6 were challenged to work collaboratively on a project while not verbally talking to each other. Instead they had to rely on online communication to delegate and research. We spoke about appropriate uses of online chats and how we can use them to work together.

Today in maths children in year 1 were using ten frames and counters to show one less. They also used a number track and understood that we can find one less using a different resource.

EYFS have had a super week painting self-portraits,talking about their families and role-playing family life in the role-play area. They loved meeting their new friends too and playing with them.

This week Year 5 have started their Computing topic of looking at how systems are built. We are looking forward to discovering how the internal processes in computers actually work.
