Following my appeal to LINK regarding the decision not to grant Coalville a Banking Hub, I have now received confirmation that my complaint has been taken up by the Independent Assessor. They will now review the case I have put forward independently of LINK.

I will continue to follow the process closely and keep you updated as things progress.

I’m really pleased to share that this week I’ve been appointed as a Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to Sir Alan Campbell, Leader of the House of Commons.

For those wondering what this means, a PPS is an MP who supports a member of the government with their work in Parliament. It offers valuable experience working closely with the government.

The Leader of the House of Commons has one of the broadest roles in Parliament, organising government business, setting the agenda and answering questions from MPs each week on any topic.

Importantly, this new role does not change my commitment to North West Leicestershire. I will continue to be just as available and dedicated to representing you as I have since July 2024.

The MP has urged ATM network LINK to reconsider their decision.

It follows the planned closure of the Lloyds Bank branch in June.
