A dancer from Dungannon has been selected by esteemed judges, including Alisha Weir who is best known for playing Matilda in the recent smash hit movie, to become one of The Faces of CYD? Northern Ireland.

What an amazing weekend we had!! Two sold out shows! So proud of every one of my dancers! Our theme this year was Superstars & Legends and we have had the best time putting the show together! Thank you Jim McKeown for the video backdrops and Craic Theatre for everything they do for us. Time to start planning next years!

The Craic Theatre’s annual summer scheme runs in August between 7th – 17th. This is an excellent chance for young people to become involved with the Craic Youth Theatre group and to have great fun for a week in August! The summer scheme is conducted by fully qualified drama facilitators.

The Times and Dates for the various age groups are :

– WEE CRAICERS (P4-P7 school age group) 7th – 11th August 2023 10am – 1pm daily

– YOUTH THEATRE (Post Primary age group) 7th – 11th August 2023 1.30pm – 4.30pm daily

– KIDDIE CRAICERS (P1-P3 age group)* 14th – 17th August 2023 11am-1pm daily
*( Children must have finished P1 class in June 2023)
