Little Stars Pre-School Clyro

20/12/2024- The day Little Stars Clyro shuts its doors for good.

Just want to say the biggest thank you to everyone who has supported Little Stars over the past 8 years.

Closing Clyro was one of the hardest decisions I have had to make but I know that it’s the best decision for myself and my family.

Biggest thank you goes to Sarah, Chris and Heidi without them Clyro wouldn’t be what it is today!

Good luck to Clyro School as they take over the Pre-School and I wish them all the best for the future.

Good luck to Chris who will be continuing at the Pre-School at Clyro and to what ever Heidi decides to do next.

Sarah won’t be going far as she joins me and my team in Little Stars Hay.

Autumn has arrived!🍁🍂🍁

We set up a sensory tray with leaves, cones, sticks & mini pumpkins🎃🍁
The children made marks in the pumpkins with the spoons + scooped out the seeds. We listened to the noise of the crunchy leaves & talked about the different colours.

We have been practicing counting too using leaves, cones and acorns🤩

The children have been busy creating their own scarecrow faces t this week. I'm sure you'll agree they are all very cute😍

We also set up a washing line in the book corner for the children to improve fine motor skills. They use the pegs to clip the leaflets on & off to look at them📚

🕷️🦋🐛Creepy crawlies!🐛🦋🕷️

Finding a huge beetle in the garden sparked an interest in bugs & insects, so we've had a fun 2 weeks doing lots of activities, here are just a few of them😊

🔍Practiced cutting skills to make butterflies & spiders
🔍Did fantastic artwork of butterflies & spiders
🔍 Practiced number recognition playing ladybird bingo
🔍Made our own spiders,some friendly, some scary🫣
🔍Bug Hunt messy play
🔍Made edible mud & dirt for worms - yum😋
