Set in 100 acres of biodynamic land beneath the Preseli Hills, Coleg Plas Dwbl offers craft and land-based skills that contribute to the workings of a historic farm, as well as work experience in the locality and with the Pembrokeshire National Park.

Coleg Plas Dwbl students celebrated Graduation Day last week. With the stunning Preseli Hills as a backdrop, attendees enjoyed seeing the display of crafts created by students over the year, were moved to tears by the leavers' speeches, and then entertained by the students' production of the Story of Taliesin. All followed by student-made ice creams in the sunshine - what a perfect day!

Over the last term, students from Coleg Plas Dwbl have engaged in work experience placements in several local businesses. These placements are incredibly valuable to our students, as they offer a chance to explore future career options, develop practical skills, and boost confidence in a real-world setting. We're so grateful to Bwyd y Byd, Castell Henllys Iron Age Village, The Wonky Donkey Cafe, Community Farm and Sanctuary, and Preseli Pony Trekking at Ashvale Holiday and Riding Stables for hosting our students and making them feel such valued members of their teams.
