Last week, Ziggy and Simoa went on a little adventure to the Renfrew Bridge after noticing that some of our children have taken a strong interest in building bridges in our loose parts area 🌉
We talked about how to keep ourselves safe and made sure we followed all safety rules while walking to and from the bridge as well as getting public transport. Once there, we spent time closely observing the bridge, looking at its shape, structure, and how it fits into the surrounding environment.
The children expressed their learning by drawing pictures of the bridge and the areas around it while sitting at the bridge. It was wonderful to see their curiosity, creativity, and growing understanding come through in their artwork.

What a Magical Day at Nursery🎄🎅
We were so excited to welcome some very special visitors today. The Grinch made a surprise appearance this morning 💚 He tried to steal some Christmas cheer, but the children’s kindness and laughter won him over, so instead they danced to cheerful music.
But that wasn't all.... this afternoon Santa came to see us, bringing smiles, festive cheer, and a sack full of presents for the children 🎅🎁
The boys and girls loved listening to a funny story Santa read to them about some naughty elves who were trying to trick them, there were lots of giggles all around 😂
It was a truly magical and memorable day for everyone. Thank you to our special visitors for making it so wonderful. And lastly, a huge thank you to our amazing staff who work so hard to make days like this so special for everyone ♥️

🚦 Road Safety Week at Nursery! 🚦
*A few more photos to share after an amazing week learning about Road Safety *
Our children had an exciting and educational week as we celebrated Road Safety Week at nursery. We were delighted to welcome a very special visitor, Ziggy. The children loved singing the Road Safety Song with him and talking about all the different ways we can keep safe in our community.
To bring the learning to life, our amazing staff also got involved. We had a lollipop lady who helped the children practice safely crossing the road, teaching them the importance of stop, look, listen. We also had staff join the fun as Health and Safety Officers, supporting the children as they explored and “dug” safely in our outdoor area 🚧 🚸
The children had a fantastic time while learning such important life skills in a fun, hands on way. Well done everyone 🛣🚦🚗🚲
