Patchwork Ponies

We had an incident tonight yesterday evening when out with the ponies which involved a driver, who ignored (until he was nearly on top of me) our clear hand signals asking him to stop.

This caused our ponies to be in danger so the driver has been reported.

We are not hurt and neither are the ponies so don't worry but we just wanted to highlight the incident here.

Most drivers are lovely and do take care when passing us which we are very grateful for.

Lots of you won't know this but I was involved in a hit and run traffic incident with my pony when I was a child. I am also completely deaf in one ear so it's always a worry being out near vehicles with the ponies as I am very aware of how bad things can turn out.

We sincerely hope this particular driver will go home and read the Highway Code so they know better next time.

Patchwork Ponies will be closed today as we are taking a pony for a care home visit.

We will open for free pat and chats on Sunday the 21 st

That's Father's Day so bring your dads along to meet a pony or just bring yourselves !

The patchwork ponies took part in a treasure hunt and we got this absolutely gorgeous rosette. It’s really beautiful and the most unusual rosette we have ever received.

The Patchwork Pony boys! Charlie Magee and Whiskey looking very cute today.

The ponies were at a horse show today ! They did very well and won all these rosettes and prizes. Wallace was very brave and Whiskey was a bit naughty but proud of them both and they looked beautiful. I will put more photos up later as Whiskey was dressed as an emperor penguin for the fancy dress class and got 2nd place with Amy and Faith. I entered a craft competition for floral arrangements in a tin can and I got a highly commended for my dog roses in a dog food can!
