☘️ Glasgow Open Feis Results ☘️
Now that I’m just about recovered from our very first Glasgow Open Feis (😂), I’m finally getting around to posting some of our results!
What a weekend it was and what an achievement for our dance school 💜
Before I mention any results, I want to say how incredibly proud I am of our team. From the dancers, to the parents, volunteers, helpers and everyone who worked behind the scenes , you were amazing. You all helped make our first ever Feis such a success.

A wee reminder to the adults behind anonymous profiles on online forums …
Our dancers are children.
They are not gossip topics, they are not targets for cruel comments, and they are certainly not here to be torn apart by adults hiding behind anonymous accounts.
These young dancers work incredibly hard. They spend hours at class, practise at home, balance school and family life, and step onto the stage because they genuinely love Irish dancing. They do it with passion, courage, and pride.
It does not matter what organisation, school, or teacher they come from- every single child deserves to feel supported, encouraged, and celebrated.
The real problem in Irish dancing is not the children. It is the adults who think it is acceptable to publicly criticise and mock young dancers from behind a screen.
If you have to stay anonymous to say something about a child, then deep down you already know what you are doing is wrong.
Let the kids dance.
Let them enjoy what they love.
Let them be proud of themselves.
And most importantly… let them be children.

🌎🏆 WIDA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 🏆🌎
What a time it has been for Team Alana Rose… and honestly, I don’t even know where to begin 🥹💜
Behind every single result this week is months and months of hard work… 4 classes a week, fitness sessions, sore legs, early mornings, late nights — all while juggling school, university, exams, placements, and personal challenges that most people will never even see.
But what makes me most proud isn’t just the results… it’s the resilience, the commitment, and the way this team shows up for each other every single day 💜
The support, the laughter, the love — not just from the dancers but from the parents too — is something so special and never goes unnoticed. This is more than a dance school… it’s a family 🥹
And WOW… what a team result:
